As a drummer I feel like people are ignoring the attention to detail on the stands and hardware, the kick Legs and cymbal stands are ridiculously good lol. The snare stand is what was most impressive.
I'm not shure if the symbols sound like that and I'm a drummer and I have been for some time. The symbols would have to be made out of some thin metal to sound like that how would it sound like that like think if you where to hit cardboard like that then hit a real symbol it just doesn't make sense

As another drummer of more then 30 years, I have to give you credit. That looks impressive. However, if you can get just a real snare drum and start working just on rudiments, you will start developing your skills. Great job!

It would be interesting to take this project one step further... hollow out the shells and replace the cardboard tops and bottoms with actual drum heads.
That is a really nice kit made of cardboard. You did a very good job. What you could do later on is buy the clip drums that clip on just about anything to make dtum sounds. Clip them on your coardboard drums.

You should design drums on CADD for your own company or for a company. You could also add piezo sensors to your kit and an arduino to make electric drums.

MNda TV try eBay. You can get a lot of good used instruments there for a reasonable price. I got all my recording hardware from there.

That's nothing. I made a Jumbo Jet out of empty toilet roll tubes and flew all my friends to the Caribbean for a 6 month break.
If you mounted some piezo triggers in the shells and connect them to a digital drum module you'd have a functional kit.

I think the coolest part was making your own bass drum pedal. The only thing this one needed was a sanding to avoid splinters. Hope to see more.
