    Great job! I am glad to see that a team seems to be taking on the correct way to making progress in robotics (analyze, observe and mimic reality to emulate it, i.e. take data directly from humans if you wanna build human-like robots.).
    Keep it up! This is very good progress.
    BTW: the next step is to do that for the entire body WHILE keeping in mind the structural integrity of the entire system (i.e. body). If the arm makes a sudden movement, it must not shake and destabilize the entire equilibrium through vibration. So make all movements have a slight lead-in ("acceleration") and lead-out ("negative acceleration", i.e. deceleration), etc. to avoid tipping over or structural damage over time (by shaking things loose and/or breaking parts). ;)

    I have been thinking for a few years that this is definately the way to go for situations where it's too dangerous to send humans in. Autonomous robots just have way too far to go at this stage, where as this type of remote control is clearly capable and achievable right now, and WAY more effective.

    • @GendoUltra
      @GendoUltra Před 4 lety

      @@juniordilon ??? Why would you think that? The design of legs with knees adapt to all sorts of terrain and situations, unlike wheels, for example. And sometimes, a straight line might seem more efficient, but on the field it proves to be dysfunctional. So no, I don't believe that knees are bad.
      Try walking around and doing your chores for 2-3 days without bending your knees. (Edutainment is cool!)

    Can it twerk? Like Ricardo Milos. I mean, I cannot be the only one thinking that, right? Like, the pelvic trust is probably one of the most complex and essential moves of the human anatomy, it shift or body weight in such a manner that can be used in a varied range of motions, if you can master those free floating ass movements like Ricardo does, what will even be able to stop you?
