    Sounds good, not sure about the flat tips angled like that though.

      Definitely ruined by the flat tips especially out the sides like that

      Me too. I wish they bring out all the old dies and start making these again. Maybe update the ignition with coil packs and the LS pcms. They could even offer LQ9s as an optional upgrade. They would be so much cheaper and more reliable. But I guess were stuck with these luxury trucks with 1,000 dollar side mirrors 🙄

      So do I hopefully next weekend I'll be picking up my 96 Tahoe

    The tips would have looked better either straight out the back or the sides. To each their own though.

    I had a 96 2 door white just like this. 37s, 6 inch lift. Itll sound even better with no cats, 2.5 inch pipe with dual turndowns after the rear exle with single chamber mufflers 😉

    Sounds just like my 96 burban.

    Flowmaster super 10 on the tahoe sounds fenominal, but i'm not sure why the exhaust pipes are angled like that to be honest

    Are we not gonna talk about the pop and crackle this 5.7l is making

      Mine does that with the stock exhaust

    Sounds pretty good. Just needs high flow cats 🤣🤣 👍👍

    How can u call that true dual mufflers when u got one mufflers split into 2 tailpipes

  • @ragintaurusmusclemercury7023

    All it need is a pair of shorty headers and a H-Pipe.

    • @Meatwad.Baggins
      @Meatwad.Baggins Před 2 lety +1

      I got 99 Yukon same basic setup as this. But with a black widow 250 and Gibson short headers. All stainless piping. And magnaflow hf cats. I do not have an h pipe as I see it being trivial since this is how stock is basically setup except the muffler is single out. There is crossover in the muffler. I figure that's good enough. But i dont know everything. So...

      @Self Made Auto yes with vbands on both sides. Tig, back purged, 308L filler, the whole nine yards.

      @Self Made Auto No one is buying the word from a guy who lies about owning a car when it comes bolt ones. It is documented that long and shorty headers make power. The difference is where the power is made and how much. Shorty headers perform best in the idle to mid-RPM range. This makes them the perfect headers for vehicles that rely on low-RPM power, like a daily commuter or a work pickups that sees a lot of towing and hauling like this one numb nuts. Long tube headers build it's power in the mid to high RPM range. They are the best option for high-rev vehicles and track vehicles. But they aren’t necessarily street legal. Used both on my vehicles since I started driving in the 80s. It is documented. A simple Google search will give you all the info you need on the subject matter including websites and performance dyno chart tests about shorty vs. long tube headers performance on stock and performance emgine configurations. Go home with that been-there-done-that bullshit kid.

      @Self Made Auto I like calling you out. You have no defense but to say that I'm lying. Prove it. What do you drive? Oh yeah I'm lying.😄😄😄

    the newer Chevy Tahoe and Suburban look the same

    • @Meatwad.Baggins
      @Meatwad.Baggins Před 2 lety

      The difference is the length. I like subs more because the back windows roll down all the way. The windows cant go down completely in the hoes because of the wheel wells. But yeah. They are basically the same thing.

    That's way too loud
