    everything was great that you did. In order to bleed the coolant lines, turn the car on, turn the A/C on full blast with the coolant cap twisted on halfway. The excess air (and some coolant) will escape out of the radiator caps. Once all the air is out of the lines the coolant will stop bubbling out of the radiator. At this time put your radiator cap back on and rinse off the excess coolant with a couple of water bottles.

    Hey, I’m in a jam here. My 2007 Nissan Altima is going crazy. About two days ago my engine light came on and I went to autozone and the code read that I needed a new radiator due to overheating. I went to my mechanic and was told my radiator is perfectly fine. After about 10 minutes of driving the car, the temp gage would shoot up to H and I now can not drive past 40mph. If I do try to accelerate, my car will start to jerk. I was told that that was a safety precaution for the engine not to blow. I got an oil change, replaced my thermostat, replaced my water pump, added coolant (my ac also stopped working) & the engine light came off. Woohoo buttt the temp gage is still going up as I drive. If my radiator is fine, my water pump and thermostat is brand new, what else could be the problem ?

    • @NoneMechanic101

      If you put the radiator cap you can't open it because it is going to burn you. If you are sure that you fill it. My advice would be not to removed the radiator cap.

    My bottom radiator hose came keeps coming off of my 2015 and i dont know why. The first time it happened i figured it was just loose so i bought a better clamp but used water because i couldnt afford the 22 bucks at the time. Could that be the reason it keeps popping off because its just water or is it a water pump issue? Maybe a thermostat issue. The fans work so i dont know why it keeps coming off. Can you please give me some advice. Also i noticed that the bottom hose that keeps coming off looks swollen at the end(that connects to the radiator). When i look up hoses online they all look flush, could i just need a new hose, or is it the wrong hose for the car? Because no matter how hard i try to slide the clamp on, It just keeps sliding off towards the skinny part of the hose which is not on the radiator pipe. Thats why i bought a different clamp and it worked for a while but than again it came off. Please help a brother out man and thanks for the videos.

      Wtf no broski, dont listen to the non-mechanic he is obviously trolling...you need a new hose 😂 I've had the same issue with huge commercial dishwashers it's most definitely the hose that's always where I goto if I have a hose blow out and it hasn't failed me once sometimes weird things happen internally In those hoses

    • @bocutty
      @bocutty Před 5 měsíci

      Either needs new hose or new radiator sometimes the outlet on the radiator breaks off and the hose won’t stay attached and even if you use water it’s ok because you have this thing in your engine called a temperature control sensor and whether you have h20 or coolant in it when it reaches the temp to activate the fans it’ll cool the fluid if look up ppl in the south run str8 h20 in their vehicles no worries about freezing and I am a real mechanic ijs

    Bought a 07 nissan versa.. riding it with the AC on, then it released warm air, shut the AC, parked it n it shut off on me, some lil smoke came out, with the water icon on red. Got to start it back up, but i shut it off n towed it to the mech. Pour some liquid but it was leaking it at the bottom. It was a leaked hose. Mech fixed it. Took it to put gas. It struggled a lil bit to start. Took it back, now the problem is that the ignition coil was filled with oil. Changed all four coils, gaskets. Got it back. But it feels a lil strange when im driving it... it runs, but feels a lil strange. Is the hose problem connected to the coil problem?

      The fans cycle on and off based on temperature. The a/c system is extra load on the engine being that it is driven by the belt when the clutch on the compressor is engaged. Therefore the fans hard start anytime the a/c compressor is engaged. However during normal operation with no a/c running the fans when only start if the temperature is hot enough. Some cars fans even have multiple speeds of operation

      and some fans even have some power saving feature where they kick off, and this could also go faulty, also the fuses / relays / switches / connections could all go bad. I had a fan not kicking on like it should one time and simply changed a relay and it fixed it

      Try to make sure you have no air in your system and the correct levels of course. You might not have the right water to coolant ratio if it’s been topped a bunch with distilled water too. Maybe run a flush before hand. It’s fairly easy to do even for beginners but make sure you follow directions per precisely or more damage can be done. Major damage! Change the pcv too while you’re at it. It’s so cheap and easy there’s no reason not too, but it’s far from necessity. Good luck bud. Reach out i suppose if you want opinions or so forth.
