  • Speaker: Richard Perkins
Market gardening is one of the most input intensive enterprises, yet for a small farm brings the possibility for some of the highest returns per land unit. Having been working in vegetable production for over 20 years, Richard shares what he has found to be the optimal approach to vegetable production in terms of soil care, efficiency and profitability. Expect to learn about key investments, tools and components of a market garden, as well as how to think about microbes and soil, crop selection and scaling appropriately.

So far I can agree. Some individuals come along, seldomly, that set the bar at a level that our ability. Reminds me of Michael Jordan. That may sound strange but Mr. Perkins does not accept limits.

My son intends to farm better than you. (I love my son and wish him well.)
Mr. Perkins sets the bar. I respect his call that he has the cleanest, most organized, productive, & efficient farm out there. There may be ones as good, but I have not seen one.
