When you said that your new way of giving everything you have is another form of suicide, it made me think of Matthew 10:39 “Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.” Thank you for your life giving message to those who might come across your video. I personally came across your video while searching for my dad’s tribute video that we made for his funeral reception. My dad struggled with addiction for many years but overcame it 30 years ago and lived a redeemed life, full of love and sacrifice for others. He found Hope in Jesus and was a believer. Unfortunately, he fell into a dark pit of depression and gave in so quickly to it. We are heartbroken that he chose to take his own life and had lost that hope you speak of. He was so loved by so many including my mother, his wife of 47 years. His name was Maynard Black. Don’t give up trying to help those struggling with addiction. Don’t give up sharing the message of forgiveness, for those who struggle to forgive themselves. Don’t give up hope! Do it for the Maynard’s of this world and the people who love them.
