Part of what makes Chevelle so brilliant (and perfect imo) is the lack of complexity. Their rhythms and beats are simple, yet hard and badass.

+ROCKaholic They can't be complex since they concentrate on melody and are a three-piece band with one guitar. So as a live band, your aim is to record in the studio so that you can recreate the ambience live. They are truly an amazing act that keeps it real.

My history teacher introduced me to my favorite bands ever. Chevelle, Led Zeppelin, Deftones, Tool, etc. He will always be my favorite teacher ever, and he has kickass music taste.

This whole song, shit, most of their songs are pure nirvana. Always bringing new riffs to the table and setting the bar for other bands. Also, they're just as mind blowing when you see them live!
I saw them live and it was terrible. Hometown Chicago show, opened for Foo Fighters. They had just gotten back from some tour abroad, and must've been exhausted, but he started berating the crowd for being lame, but it was a combo of their lack of energy, and the fact that back then (2003-04?) the UIC Pavilion didn't sell booze which we didnt know. We had to cling onto the fleeting buzz from a joint and a few preshow drinks through both shows, was a total bummer. But Foo still brought it pretty good, and this song continues to rock my socks.

Went to see Chevelle in St.Pete. awaited and waited...SRO, well after a friggin 45 minutes the first band didn't even hit the stage...yeah and I had a TIA (stroke). Ambulance came...had my daughter with me, we both missed the whole show. They discharged me the next day. Damn, I really really wanted to see them. If you know this band please let them know. A young lady helped me that nite to get a seat outside. Yeah, not such a happy Thanksgiving the next day. But I thank my God in Heaven I recovered! Thanx family and friends! Chow. Next time I will be there!

November last year the day before Thanksgiving. My daughter and I went to the show at Jannus in St. Pete. Never seen them live. I am a rock drummer. So I enjoy live concerts. It was a daddy/daughter date and I just gotta be happy I am not physically damaged.

The type of bass they use makes them sound like they are a 5 man band, not 3. Just saw them live in Denver and they were incredible live
Unbelievable how 3 people can create such awesome music. Saw them in concert recently in new Orleans great show but they didn't play take out the gunman which left us feeling like we missed there best stuff. Definitely our favorite song anyway. But they definitely lit the Filmore up.
Chevelle is so underrated. The radio plays a couple of their songs but no one really wears any chevelle shirts. Hot topic doesn't sell any of their merch. :(

The guitar riff of this song is unreal. That riff is part of THE definition why we love Chevelle. Yes it maybe can get repetitive if listened to too often in a short period of time...but what doesn't? I like my songs in moderation with the exception of a few. Point is folks, I have seen individuals of all ages get up and start dancing/rocking to this song when played live. You can't help but groove to that riff. Rock on brothers.

I seen these guys September 2015 in Tucson. As soon as they took the stage you would have thought that they were the Thunder Gods the crowd was screaming so loud! At the end of their first song some guy tapped me on the shoulder and passed me a joint.. Awesome! great band, can't wait to see them again! btw, it was my first concert ever and The Offspring was headlining! I will always remember that day!

Yeah, but their sister's husband joined them. He's a cool guy. I met him when my wife and I saw them in Chico. The band made him do the meet and greet. I asked him a ton of questions about their dynamic and how he came to be involved.

Sometimes the words don't rhyme but the singer articulates them in a way that it sounds like they do. It's very clever.

Like every Chevelle song, this one is great. The heavy bass combined with a low higher pitched voice is a great combination (not sizable to AC/DC's combination, but still good) and the simplicity is great too.
