i feel like the only thing missing was the dancers. Cuz Yemi has A LOT of energy and she loves to dance so if dancers were on stage, they wouldn't look at her like shes crazy.

The song is really really really good. I blame the poor sound quality to her singing live and the technicalities. I wish the audience had reacted better to her performance. She's very good and I'm only seeing her for the first time. She's good.

Actually, yemi has a very rich, thick voice. However, the song is very fast, and upbeat, so she's running out of breathe, you can hear her struggling to catch up with the beat. Also, there's the whole dancing thing. Not everybody is tina turner, even Beyonce who claims to always sing live is notorious for pre-recording her performances, epsecially when dancing is involved. African artists have to start investing in having live bands and background singers, that way the pace of the music would be realistic, and she wouldn't be finding it so hard to keep up, and her background singers reinforce her vocals when she misses a beat; instead of this "one dj in the back" thing they always do and deliver horrible performances.

Obviously she hasn't had any music development, but your statement about beyonce and ciara was false because if you look at any of their performances they usually have background vocals and stage singers helping them vs yemi in this performance singing with background vocals only on the chorus. She just needs help with breathing techniques, and learning how to move around dance and sing at once.
