"Children should be seen and not heard from. Better yet: Never 'seen,' or 'heard' from' again." LOL I just love that quote! Gotta appreciate the dark humor here!! XD!!
OH MY GOD. To the people who grew up with this movie: When you guys saw " A series of unfortunate events", did the story of orphans forced to live with an unpleasant old uncle ring a bell, but you didn't know why? I now know! :D
Yeah! I'm glad that I'm not the onle one who saw that Barnaby looks like Count Olaf! I think that Paramount and Netflex took something from this cartoon to create the image of Olaf. They indeed have many similarities - they both like money, their houses and their styles are alike, their attude to children and that scene where Barnaby sings shows that he likes making fires too. And I'm sure Mary and Tom are working for VFD)))
According to my friend who's never seen it but I showed pictures to, she instantly said he reminds her of a Hobgoblin (which are apparently leaders of the goblins) so apparently they actually got it spot on!
*Introduction* Rodrigo: It didn't take long for the downfall. Poor little Jack and Jill. (spoken) Now isn't it sad, Gonzargo? Gonzargo: Too bad about that hill! Rodrigo: (spoken) These kids don't look so good around the gills! (singing) The forest is crawling with goblins. They're deadly! They're creepy! Gonzargo: They're tough! Rodrigo: They're passion is mass destruction. Gonzargo: I think they breathe fire and stuff! Rodrigo: They chew up unlucky children like so many pieces of gum. Gonzargo: (singing) On the isle of Iggadig, a pirate captain paid us big to finish off a serpent from the sea! With eighty heads! (Jack and Jill roll their eyes incredulously) Rodrigo: Once the town of Jellyroll was bothered by a nasty troll! Both: We bashed his face in for a handsome fee. Exactly.

@@user-ku3jr4cn9i A Series of Unfortunate Events was a book series before Paramount made the movie.
Criminally underrated film
This song is hands down the only reason I remember this movie exists. And I'm sure I've only watched it once and over 15 years ago.
Definitely their first job!
One of the most underrated Villain Songs out there. Any others sung by the henchmen that's over 2 minutes?
Fun fact Barnaby is voice by the duke from rock a doodle (Christopher Plummer)
4:50 Goblin King: Boo!
Pirate henchmen: (faint)
This song is very catchy! The 2 guys singing have great voices. And I love the part starting at 3:55!

Now that I'm seeing this film again, the Goblin King looks to be more Orc than goblin. Am I right?
According to my friend who's never seen it but I showed pictures to, she instantly said he reminds her of a Hobgoblin (which are apparently leaders of the goblins) so apparently they actually got it spot on!
@@rainewock2227 ahh the rare hobgoblin. Guess he would've become a fat goblin king if he had survived lol!!
Ok I admit it, the movie is stupid, but this song is so entertaining, those two are so funny
Am I the only one who thinks the goblins are gremlins
Cool 😎
Oh Oh Oh Oh! The worst has already came with Pooh and Ash's Hassle at Dracula's Castle in which I sing!
Yeah, it doesn't get much worse than Pooh's Adventures.
Barnaby crookedman is no better than the goblins
@Sylph70 download final video converter
its what I use
Do you think you can trim it down so it's just the song please? My youtube converter can only take up to 3 minutes.
Does anyone think that big pirate sounds a lot like Jim Belushi?
That’s his brother James doing the voice.
@@davrosdaleks1 John is Jim's brother.
Do you think you can trim it down so it's just the song please?
@BubbleSoapz Nah, we all got our weird fetish's. I think Scar from the Lion King is hot so its all good XD
Anyone remember the movie's name in italian?
I think the Goblin king is voiced by a woman, I mean Lindsay Schnebly is a pretty girly name.
Oh man, that pirate captain's laugh is so hilarious!
"Shut up your mouth!" Great catchphrase!
3:27 okay that was actually a brilliantly animated "not buying it" look from those kids.
Love how even the kids know they're pathetic wannabe villains.
haha! The Goblin King is a sort a 6 ft half-fiend hobgoblin or a half-fiend bugbear!
and the whole time they're being taken from toyland i'm saying "SHOUT FOR HELP", better then just letting them take them to the goblin forest
Huh, I am surprised there are people here this year. I just found out this song last month.
The Goblin Forest looks awesome!
I agree.
The Goblin kKing...now, me being abotu 18...I think he is kinda hot. Is that strange?
Nah, I think so too
Dang.. I just realized this comment is from 7 years ago! O.o
.... So, ya still think the Goblin King's hot? 😂😂😂
I was too busy reliving my trauma from listening to a little girl saying “No” to care.
yeah he is....i thought tom was too.. :3
can you put the lyrics up? Can't find them anywhere, and the little guys kinda hard to understand at some point. thanks so much for uploading :D
I'll try to decipher the lyrics with the best of my abilities.
EDIT: I managed to get the DVD version and read the lyrics off the subtitle.
