@@gamemast15r Well, he _is_ doing something of a spiritual successor to Conker. It's apparently self-funded, so we'll have to wait and see.
You know, this beta version of the game should have been included as a bonus in the collection. I'm pretty sure they still have this version on a cartridge locked away next to Project Dream in a big chest at Rare.
Le Docteur I would have liked to have played it. There is a lot of footage on CZcams of Twelve Tales and (sure, it's fairly incomplete looking but) it really looked heaps of fun and not as bad as the team were making it out to be in this documentary.
Le Docteur Yep, I would so buy it if they released it as a dlc game, along with Live and Reloaded in HD. I love Bad Fur Day, but I always thought Twelve Tales looked bigger and more fun. I don't get why they thought it was too similar to Banjo-Kazooie. It looked like it had many things to offer, in contrast to Banjo Kazooie.

SpongicX they realized that it was turning into another kid friendly platformed like banjo, and didn't have the drive to go on making a game that was similar to a lot of others at that time.
Maztuhmind Looking at the gameplay, I still thought Conker Twelve Tales looked unique, compared to Banjo-Kazooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, or any other game for that matter. I honestly wished they would have released Twelve Tales, and then make Bad Fur Day.

Jose Barrios I think Microsoft bought rare out and basically made them scrap the sequel they already had & made that other conkur game which in my opinion was trash compared to the original..not sure if im totally correct but definitely Google it!

Better story than most today. Sad with all the tech we got today and nobody can make anything worth a damn as far as story and style even creativity like these old bangers. Subjective yes. However I feel a lot agree on that.

Live & Reloaded is affordable tho. The OG N64 version is rare and expensive. It was for the best they ported the original (though it would have been nice to include both).
