Hi Adam, I’m the owner of a retired greyhound. Although he’s a great pet, I know very little about greyhound racing. I’m finding your videos very informative and entertaining, and give a great insight into the life of a trainer. Obviously, trainers will differ, but your enthusiasm and joy at just seeing your dogs run is contagious. I have a few videos of my own dog competing in open races, and love seeing him run. My Grandfather Tom English was a owner/trainer. Owned Morden Mist who won the 1965 puppy derby and many big open races at Wimbledon and White City. Owned and trained Mitcham Mug who won the produce stakes at Oxford in 1975. All trained from his back garden. We use go flapping at Aldershot and Rye House. Up the straight at Biggin Hill and Loudwater. I have writen a book about him which is just being edited called the Greyhound Alchemist. Greyhounds like routine and need to be fit at the right. If you are going in open races you've got to select them wisely. I use to go to the derby at White city london every year. What one lucky boy i was.
New subscriber and racing fan from ireland very much enjoying the vlogs. Great idea. Hopefully vlogs such as this will highlight the positive aspects of greyhound racing and breathe much needed new life into the industry.

You was very lucky to be able to watch at White City. Please let me know when the book will be published, sounds like a really interesting read.
