Thank you for this video. I have one of those heavy duty flatcars...it was nice to see the detail of the real thing with a load like that.

How do you move a large, heavy load? Slowly and carefully! How do you manage that? By rail, of course! This is a beautiful video of a very interesting rail move on a spectacular spring day. Thanks for your efforts catching this unique operation.

I wonder if that shipment started in Waukesha WI due to the CN idler cars. Nice coverage of this as it worked its way through the countryside. The DC flat is unique because it's reporting marks are for Lowville & Beaver River a dormant Shortline in New York

I believe this transformer was made in Korea and arrived on a ship in New Orleans

Yes down in Texas a large load broke off a heavy haul truck and killed people it was a 350.000 pound load.

Do you know if those covered hoppers at Hog Hollow are being stored or unloaded there? I wouldn't think they would have Blue Flag protection up for just storage. I saw the blue sign sitting on the ground several weeks ago (no cars were present) and couldn't remember seeing a sign there before. Lackland yard has been stuffed everytime I swing by there and they stashing cars everywhere possible it seems. Business must be good.

The little stub @ Hog Hollow handles overflow from Lackland. I believe they sometimes unload product here into trucks if the customer needs it badly enough.

do you happen to know if they are transloading lumber at the baxter spur? there was a truck parked right next to tracks loaded with lumber when I drove by earlier

That I'm not aware of, but they have been very aggressive in attracting new business to the railroad.
