The first strand of pearls from Germany were absolutely Gorgeous ,those are the prettiest pearls I have ever seen I haven't ever gone looking for pearls but the pearls I have seen in stores I never gave a second glanceđ

26:36 Check through old notebooks. I was going through some of my grandmother's things and found a little notebook like that in her recipe box. I found doodles from my mom when she was a child, a pickle recipe and the best thing, Ronald Reagan autograph. I have never overlooked notebooks since.
This was like going through my motherâs dresser after she passed away! So many similar items, wow!
All the little stork medals were given to them after the birth of a child. Pinks ones for the girls and blue for the boys! All the hankies are amazing too!

Those are beautiful dressers, similar to ours. In fact, they look so similar in design (with different drawer configurations) that I would venture that they were made by the now defunct Sweat and Cummings furniture Co., Vermont. They are rock maple. Some of the old handkerchiefs sell for good money on Ebay. Great investment.
The compact/cigarette holder is Art Deco-----over the top collectible. Big bucks

The blue shell shaped jewellery box that had broach in was prob for the pearls as the box was a pearl shell shape. Congrats George on 1 yr Cancer free xxxxx

What a great unit so far, I can't wait to see what else is in there. I love the fact that you were all together, it makes all the more fun. In the 60's my Grandmother had plenty of handkerchiefs in her drawer in her dressing table sadly she didn't have hardly any jewellery but it was lovely looking at hankies from the decades past. Plenty of jewellery for you to check, I do enjoy seeing your face when you find gold and silver, you get so excited. just a heads up the "wheelchair" is actually a transporter- no way to propel yourself. for moving someone who can't push them selves and the arms are collapsible to allow it to fit in the trunk of a car better. should resale well.

The Mary images you are finding are called The Immaculate Heart of Mary. The keychain with Paulus on it was in celebration of Paul VI becoming Pope in the early 1960's (63?).

Yep people hide money in envelopes between papers like my late mom did I found another three hundred dollars in with her papers last week. All In all I found close to three thousand dollars in her papers. All of it was seperated though in with her papers. But cool finds you guys found their maybe one day I will buy me a storage unit at one of these auctions to.
I'm in northern Minnesota we've already got 5" of snow. Today was a bit chilly. Very fun going through the draws!!
I live in upstate ny and I can wait till March for snow. The area we live in averages 12 feet a year...I hate driving in it...
