This feels like something from Dante's version of hell.
You're a guest and for centuries, maybe over a millennium, you find yourself endlessly wandering the path with your fellow prisoners, surrounded by broken rides and snack stalls that you are long since sick of. The Entertainers still wander the park, trying fruitlessly to amuse you even after centuries of the same costumes and the same dances. The Handymen ignore you pleas for help and continue to maintain the plants and clean the paths, as if you're not even there. The Security Guards wander almost silently, ignoring questions, only barking rebukes at 'vandals', the same rebukes repeated over and over. You haven't seen the Mechanics in centuries, some say they got out somehow, but you know there is no way out, the sign is undeniable.
Sometimes the urge will strike you try and do something else, to try and climb over the sign, to duck under it, to grab a Jetski and make for the opposite bank, to try and climb the fence out, but you never will, instead you will do what you have done for so very long... you keep walking.
Only after countless circuits are you finally presented the only escape you will ever be offered; as the sound of cheering comes from the sky, the ground simply vanishes beneath you, the water almost seeming to rise up to meet you all. After so very long, it is over and you can only pray that whatever comes next is kinder than whatever god did this to you.

I continue to marvel at your commitment to play this game by NOT playing the game....and STILL be more entertaining than someone actually playing the game! Lord indeed, a Lord among mere guests.

you know, when he said that he was gonna release them from their suffering, I thought, for a moment, that he was gonna get rid of the sign and watch everyone stream to the exit. I was wrong, but not disappointed.

It's not the no entry sign that prevent guests from leaving, it's because Marcel in his newest experiment decides to sew them into 2 giant human centipedes…

It's so disturbing to think that all these people have wandered in the park for 1500 years, exhausted, starving, and losing their minds, only to suddenly stare into the sky and all start applauding God Marcel at the exact same insant
also RIP to the 2 brave mechanics who continued working even though they knew that one day they would drown horrifically

I had four mechanics die on that scenario during a normal play through and had no idea why, so thank you for enlightening me. I thought it had something to do with the way the ride broke down maybe. Kind of like when your station brakes fail.
