Man the way Goku's hair blows in the wind and the stances he and Vegeta take againt eachother are so iconic they made sure to mimic them perfectly even when they made the first Budokai. I think I was in jr. high school when I played this game.

Madison, I was always curious. Who's your favorite main villain from DBZ? Frieza, Cell, or Majin buu? And your reason?
Mine is Frieza. He fights with his own strength only and doesn't absorb anyone to get stronger. Thus, he wasn't OP with such regeneration abilities but the writers nailed it when making him a powerful villain without such abilities.
You’re right on about Frieza! I really liked that about him. I also liked cell’s backstory and enjoyed how it tied into dragon ball. To me, Cell’s confident and alpha personality made him more terrifying than Frieza. That’s why I enjoyed Gohan destroying him so much!

If the story mode is going by quickly it’s because you will have to fight gohan and krillen and goku as vegeta. So basically you have to fight as the bad guy

If you were not aware the "King Kai Fist" move is the Kaio Ken attack, its just this game comes from a time where they literally translated things from Japanese, and "Fist of the world King or King Kai fist" is literally what Kaio Ken means if you directly translate it. 😂

A few years I did a what if story if nappa turned into a good guy. In that I had nappa battle burter since they are both giant muscular hulks.
In budokai tenkaichi 2 and 3 you can play as great ape nappa and great ape raditz. Nappa as a great ape can talk.

Woohoo! Well done. I want to give little tidbits if I can here and there to expand your skills. You know how to power up with X ⬅️⬅️ but if you do that without holding X or guard you’ll dash or fly forward and backwards even flying up into the air going backwards!

If you play DBZ Infinity world or Legacy of Goku 1 (I really hope you play all 3 Legacy of Goku games on here lol) you can actually travel across snake way and chase after Bubbles.

Sorry to be so questionie I always like to ask questions about Dragon ball Z after people finish watching the show. If you can pick any character to teach you how to fight and fly who would it be and why? Also awesome videos keep it up hope to see more!
Thank you!! I would want Vegeta to teach me to fight and fly because he would be tough, but teach me to be the greatest I could be. I think Goku wouldn't be as good of a teacher because everything comes to him so naturally. Vegeta really had teach himself so I think he would be a great teacher.

This game was good for its time it made a good impression and a story mode is pretty killer. But the Budokai Tenkaichi series 1,2, and 3 are the best Play 3 on the PlayStation 2 or play it on the Nintendo Wii each somehow providing a different experience
I suggest you should watch Inuyasha it has a ton of action.

My all time favorite DBZ character is Future Trunks! I do really like Piccolo though. I think he’s a very layered, wise character!
Future Trunks & Vegeta definitely became my two favorites. Vegeta for his character development, and Trunks because even though his story is so sad, eventually he perseveres and he doesn’t waste time killing villains. And the whole time travel aspect in general. I wish The History of Trunks movie was longer though, definitely in my top 3 as far as favorite movies.
Budokai 2 gameplay was a bit weird. I don't blame you for skipping it! Lol
