- sorry I’m late lmao // I just rewatched the finale and yes, I hate it and I’m still bitter. Of course this is just my opinion and you’re welcome to disagree with me. But despite my frustration and hatred for this episode, I still love Jared, Jensen, Misha, and the show immensely. Even though it’s over, I’ll still be making supernatural videos (interrupting bloopers vol. 2 coming soon - I was actually gonna finish that first but I got distracted editing this lol). Anyway, I hope this makes you laugh or helps you cope :)

There are only two good things came from the finale: Miracle and the Memes.
Miracle came from 15.19. We didn't need the finale for that.
In my opinion 15x19 ending could have been the series finale and 15x20 only existed so Jared and Jensen and crew could say goodbye
yeah and carry on without missing it, because the last episode made them never wanting to go back ;D
They could have done a fun episode showing that Sam had a family, while Dean might have not, he still helped his nephew grow up. Then, Cas could explain that angels can’t really leave heaven anymore (once the boys either die properly on a hunt or old age, no other way makes sense), Dean and Cas finally finish that conversation, we see all the old characters, and we cut to how Cas and Jack fixed heaven and brought back a bunch of angels. Maybe like a fixer upper scene, they get sledge hammers and break down the walls, then everyone else kind of just enjoys being together again, maybe in or outside Jo and Ellen’s old bar, something of the sort. (John could properly be introduced to Cas, etc)
Yeah I wish they would have only used the crew saying goodbye for 15x20 and 15x19 was the ending for the actual show

They've done this a few times in the show, where they show an old character and the brothers immediately know who they are, and I'm like, wow you guys shoulda been tested for Mensa bc I have lost all recollection of this person

I only remembered her when they started showing the flashbacks, and even then it was only because I'd rewatched that episode less than a week beforehand. There's no way Dean should've remembered this random lady he saw for less than an hour 15 years ago. I don't think she ever even told them her name. EDIT: Okay, yeah, I just checked the transcript for that episode. She didn't even have a name then, she was just "Woman".

No seriously tho they were like, Oh the beautiful badass angel of the lord who carried the show for 12 years, became a family to the guys, saved their asses and sacrificed himself more times than people can keep count? nah we'll barely mention him in the finale:).

See part of me didn't want to watch 15x20, because 15x19 was such a beautiful ending! But I was never going to be satisfied if I didn't hear "Carry on my wayward son" one last time!

I guess I already have a whole collection of the SPN finale cracks, and you know what? Heck yeah, I love them! And yours made me laugh so freaking much, so just a huge thank you! It helps me cope with this crap a lot (yep, mentally still there, still not over it)

All that sacrifice is literally being for nothing. 15 years of characters growth; Dean's whole life taking care of his brother. It was all for nothing.
I used to love flashback scenes of young Dean and Sam, I thought "aw look how hard it was for them, one day Dean's sacrifice will be paid off", now all I can think of is "DEAN, RUN! You will never have anything more than that, your sacrifice is USELESS, you need to go!"
I actually laughed at the "oh look at that I've been impaled" part. Way to take something horrible and make it funny.

Jack has just fixed everything and Dean is in his room, suddenly a flap of wings and a "hello dean" makes him turn. Before Cas can say anything Dean rushes in and kisses him and says “I love you too”, cut to Sam by the door “well it’s about time” roll credits. There, I fixed it.

Definitely could have been a better ending. But the Pandemic did mess with the original plans (having the Winchester family, all people they lost along the way, etc). It was most definitely because of that which lead to the montage with the awful wig to fill out the time.
I do think that Dean dying on a hunt was the only way he could have gone out. It wasn't dramatic, it wasn't part of God's big story, it was like any other hunter. and just because Jack is God doesn't mean he's gonna give everybody a free pass because of heartbreak. Especially since there's always a price for everything (he probably only got Cass out of the Empty by making it fall back asleep as part of a deal).
I honestly think that if the writers and crew had a chance to redo the ending once the pandemic is over, they'd do it in a heartbeat

Actually still so angry about the ending. Still though, seeing Dean die and getting to heaven of course made me cry, i was happy for him... But Misha and the rest of the crew must've also been pretty upset too right? Being a part of the SPN Family for years, some even over a decade, and they weren't in the finale? Seriously? All the people that he's saved, he's met along the way, none of them greeted him in heaven? Oh my gosh that made me so pissed.
I just don't understand how they can make the most heartbreaking, radical, and badass episodes... And end the show off like this. Like I need to know how they all agreed to this.

I respect jensen more .. he didnt deserved this ending... he knew how fans would react... oh I hate Dobbs so much... he said in some interview somewhere that HE is NOT a jensen fan.... well that explains the ending.... jensen met the writers and they didnt listen to him .. eric kripke talked him into it ...????!!!!!like seriously....????? I wish Jensen gets the copyright of spn.. and gives us what we deserve
“Talked” him into it? More like bullied him and probably some of the other cast into to it as well. Then there’s people blaming Jared, Misha, and Jensen over the ending, saying that we didn’t see Cas again because Jensen is “homophobic”, if he was then why would he be remotely okay with half the stuff the fandom does or how some scenes have gone? It was poor writing, loathing from producers, the CW, and writers. They got sick of waiting, so they rushed and half-assed an ending where fans, cast, and crew aren’t happy. Jensen and Misha both deserved better endings for their characters. The only good thing that came from the ending was: miracle, heaven being fixed, Cas not being stuck in super mega empty hell forever, and of course the memes.
I both disagreed with everything you said AND fell from my chair from laughing too much 😂
