I usually clean my whole downstairs, living room, dining room, play area and more and I take my time in certain areas that need extra cleaning and it last the whole time. I feel like this machine is more for cleaning/mopping the floor then actually using it as a vacuum. While it does pick up debris when you use it I personally wouldn't solely use it for only vacuum. It is made to be a wet vacuum. You could also contact the company directly if you have any issues since I'm not associated with Hoover, themselves. :)

I personally click the blue button once or twice (more if the area is extra dirty) for the liquid to come out. But yes to answer your question that is how the floor cleaner comes out. :) You don't need to continuously hold down the button or that will cause a big puddle on the floor. Haylie Lloyd I have 2 cats & a dog. The first time I used it there was a LOT of cat hair in 1 room, so it got clogged up. All I needed to do to unclog it was to take out the roller then pull out the hair in the hole that goes up into the dirty water tank. . It took about 15 seconds to fix. Machine is well worth every penny if u ask me. Ps. The white light on the bottom two sides will turn red & the sound of the machine will change when it gets clogged. Hope this helps😊.
