Hi, I am having a problem killing a process using the activity monitor, the method used to work before but some reason it's not working anymore. After quitting the processes restarts.
I have used the terminal and seen some videos to kill the process using its PID number but i receive the error "operation not permitted".
Even after granting Full Disk Access to the terminal i get the same error.
Could you please tell me if there is a solution to this problem ?

Hi - I'm running cygwin terminal (as an administrator) on windows 11. I've created a small "hello world" program which compiles with no problems and produces a file called a.exe. a.exe has all the appropriate execute permissions, yet whenever I try and run it I get "permission denied"...if anyone's got any ideas, they'd be greatly appreciated...
