Lemme just explain the catch can deal - The vacuum pump draws some oil and moisture out of the crankcase. This mix goes in the can and is the consistancy of grease - it does not flow out of the drain fitting. The can is a Motion Raceworks can - I’ve taken it apart and removed the o-ring that goes between the body of the can and top section so we can easily remove it and clean it out. Without the o-ring it can vibrates loose - not a problem if it’s checked every round - forget about it a couple passes and it falls off.
What's the scoop from an owner/driver perspective? You have a ton of cash in this car for someone else to drive it. It's an interesting paradigm for sure!
@@C5Zautoxandtrackive owned owned the car since brand new… I’ve been involved with Ultra Street since its inception - the class progressed beyond the point I’m comfortable with as a driver - I have plenty of enjoyment building, maintaining and working with Nate on the tuning.

It’s honestly one of the cleanest F body Camaros in the small tire scene. I saw it in person a year ago and everything about it is clean and well thought out

@@hazeljustice307 That's the truth. I know Jackstand has done some work on it recently and made the second bull horn exhaust in the front and a few things with the engine. Gonzo has for sure built one badass car and it seems like they are just now dialing in everything on the car
It takes lots and lots of passes to go fast…. Tons of parts, and testing. Right about the time you think you’ve got it figured out, the engine has a ton of passes and is worn out and need rings rods pistons etc.
Love that Camaro. Excited to see what y'all do with it this season. It does sound strange during the burnouts though.

It’s got the motion can on it… problem is the vacuum pump turns that oil into a grease and it doesn’t flow out of the bottom drain. So I took the can apart from the top and took out the oring so it is easily unscrewed. Problem is it vibrates loose without the oring.

To the nitrous guys, why does James purge so much nitrous? Does that not waste it?
You see it more in warm temperatures, ideal bottle pressure is 900-1000 psi , if between 85 and 100 degrees you have to lower down the psi, in cooler temperatures we use bottle heaters as 70 degrees and under often result in 750 psi or lower.
