Here he explains a bit about the esoteric practice called "Samà".
The people who heal in the jungle go through this practise by spending long periods of time in complete isolation on a very limited diet.

I have done a two month Samá in the Peruvian jubgle with two Onasyn and a meastro.
It was beautiful and humbling to sit with them in medicine space and to see them do the work and receiving their medicine and heaking being made possible by the tree and plant doctors!
