Brendon Urie can sing it properly live, it is just that he is trying to protect his voice from damage seeing as doing those notes every night would damage his vocal chords overtime
HerE I aM, coMpOsinG a burlESquE very true. George Harrison from the Beatles ruined his voice from touring too much. A lot of cheerleaders and teachers have completely ruined their vocal cords from overuse.
A lot of artists won’t use their “real” voice because their career would be short lived.
@@stephaniegreen59 Like Tyler Joseph too! He's the singer of Twenty One Pilots and he either screams or hits really high notes in studio versions of songs. While live, he alters those songs he doesn't hit those notes and damage his voice, and makes the screams short so he doesn't lose his voice.

I’ve seen brendon Urie live with the pray for the wicked tour and it was the best concert I’ve ever been to and I’ve seen maroon 5 and Julia Michaels and a few others. His energy was so good and his voice was amazing as always. He also did a drum solo and it was AMAZING and he sang a billy Joel song because billy was at the station next door performing at the same time (in Philadelphia). He by far puts on the best performance I’ve seen live.

I mean I've seen Brendon Urie live a few times, and I can confirm that he is as good if not better live than when he is on the albums. He brings a whole bunch of energy to what he does on stage and obviously loves it, and it shows because his concerts are fucking awesome.

I have been listening to Brendon Urie for about 14 or 15 years now.. I was 7 years old when I heard I Write Sins Not Tragedies on the radio with my mom. I was able to finally go to one of his concerts in 2019 when he played live in Los Angeles. I was 20 at the time and I cried like a baby the whole time. Just because I got to hear him live.
I got to see Brendan Urie live last year and my god that was literally amazing. Them high notes!

Having seen Brendon urie live in a sweaty wall type venue his voice is actually better live imo. The notes he added in, the ability to hold unbelievable keys and able to hold a tune while running, jumping and back flipping without bumming a single note or skipping any lyrics. He doesn't play it safe live, in fact he steps up his game live and makes it more complex.

The only live concert I've ever been to was Panic! at the Disco way back in 2005 when they were first starting out. As amazing as Brendon is, he's definitely grown in his skills since those days, because I remember thinking how tired he sounded back then. (I still *loved* the concert, by the way, he just sounded winded really quickly.) Now it's like he's learned the tricks to be able to dance around the stage, belting an incredible range, without ever getting out of breath.

Brendon singing in the lower key for the live performance wasn't because he can't sing the higher key live but because it was a televised performance. I've seen him perform that song live in concert and it was absolutely amazing because he doesn't have to rein himself in. Beebo loves having fun with his vocals during concerts.
Another reason artist sing in a lower key for live songs is to save their voice for the big concerts.

actually, brendon sings "hey look ma" in that same lower key during all live performances, including concerts! but that's not to say he can't sing that high, because he definitely can. he's just saving his voice so it lasts throughout the whole concert :)

She’s got the cute personality to pull it all off. I actually like her live performances more than the super produced recordings of her.

The only difference between pop music and country music is a southern US accent. You can get away with a little guitar twang in pop, but the second you get a vocal drawl, it's straight to country town.
