Firewall in RouterOS: Different Types of Traffic

Following our discussions on the physical In/Out Interfaces in RouterOS packet flow, we are going to have a look at the three main types of expected network traffic, namely input, output and forwarded traffic. With different examples on our MTCNA home lab, we see the details of traffic behavior traveling between our devices and review the log records of these types of ongoing traffic.
