In this video, I share my secret to the sturdiest slides.

This was more selling for herself and not a DIY video because she doesn’t say where she gets the templates how to make them or anything
Pretty Vicki true but some false.. i did say where to get them. I make them & i sell them. I discussed 2 different type of slippers & showed how to make 1/2. Every video i made on how to do something is based on my own personal experience from what I know how to make.. i have a business where I sell a few handmade items these slippers are 1 of them. I’ll never give anyone the blueprint on how to do the same exact business but you can get an idea from the makers point of view. I feel that takes away the passion that you can gain from learning on your own or anyone will go harder for something they’ve taught themselves how to do.
Let’s say i made a video on how to tie shoelaces I’ll tell you where to get the shoe & the laces & itll 10/10 times be from me lol cause that’s just what makes sense to me. Something has to be beneficial in order for me to do it or it doesn’t make sense it’s a waste of time.
Most youtubers make videos you watch 20 min & then find out it was sponsored by __ or its a paid ad for __
Most stores give you a free gift if you buy x amount of products

I really hope you didn’t make this comment to be offensive because I’m really flattered that you noticed . I want you & everyone to know that I’m always going to promote me. That’s how much i back all of my products that I’m putting it out there for the world to see & no you don’t need to get it from China or from a sally on the corner of random street; get it from me. Why mess up a pair of Nike Slides to cover??? Am I missing something?
It’s really not about “messing up” or covering it. It’s about the base. Nike slides have a long lasting good comfortable foundation. Instead of having to source a slipper that’s sturdy & wonder about sizing .. i just used what I know..

Someone said it cuz nike sliders are sturdy ect but still I've got them same nike sliders but also brought a pair of slides from primark £6 that are tuff sterdy ect.the fur won't last as long as the nike sliders anyway lol

Hey guys sorry about all the confusion. I have a shop where I sell just about everything I post. I’m showing how to make it & if you’d like any business advice I’m happy to assist if I can. I respond to my emails all the time.
I sell the templates that I discussed for $40 each pair. This is the fabric strip with the design you’d like the size you would like so you can put it on your own slipper.
If you would like for me to make the entire slipper for you with the design attached to a slipper that’s $70.
If you’re interested in feathers for your slipper those range from $3-7/yard you’ll need 1-1.5
If you’re interested in Nike slippers the cheapest I’ve ever seen them was from Zappos for approximately $19.99
If you’re interested in a nike slipper with feathers $50
If you’re interested in fox on a regular slipper $65
If you’re interested in fox on a nike slipper $70
If you’re interested in just buying the fox fur to put on your own slippers $30/pair

They both have 22 & 25 gram 1 might even have 30 not sure
If you have a wholesale account or tax ID you can shop with zuckers feathers they have the cheapest prices but they measure feathers in weight like medium or heavy and their medium & heavy is small to me but it can work for what you want.

This what it look like to me. Just my thoughts.
U can buy the fur at Joanns, buy the letter templates , cut ur fur to fit, turn it wrong sideup, place ur letters trace (make sure letters r placed right, so they will be turn the right way on the right side), cut with some nice scissors put letters to the side, u can use them on another pair, do this procedure to the other color u want the letters, put letters in there place u just cut out, rub rubbing alcohol on shoe to clean let dry, glue like she said. Remember don't through away anything ever, unless u r sure u can't use down the road on another pair. I have never made these, this is the concept in my head.
Now I want to make some, to test my theory. I have to much crocheting to do.

You can try AliExpress and look for rubber slides. You can make an account with “FashionGo.net” it’s a wholesale & vendor site you can search for shoes clothes etc. you might not be able to find a completely blank shoe but the style might be so simple you can remove whatever is on it or work over it.

I tried working with feathers I made a cute little lamp and lampshade with feathers, all kinds of little different things. Feathers are very MESSY, once one of those suckers get UP YOUR NOSE..... YOU ARE DONE. Trust me I'm done. But you can get those feathers at the Dollar Tree and E6000 and Mod Podge. PRACTICE CHEEP
