Thank you for doing a video of my suggestion! Great work as always. What was most striking about Yunseong’s 1P costume in SC2 was that it was a crop top. Interesting choice for a male character, but as you said the color scheme makes it great. but I usually used the 2P costume instead as I wasn’t a fan of the spiky red hair and actually it’s my favorite overall costume for him. Talim’s costumes are all gorgeous in their own way, but the 3P costume from SC2 is my favorite as it looks the most like a priestess look for her, with the 2P costume a close 2nd.
Thank you! I totally get why the spiky red hair wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but I like how unique and eye-catching it is. Much like Talim’s hat and necklace, it’s something you can look at and immediately go, “Yup, that’s Yun-Seong.”
I can't say anything about Yun-seong, I Like his Fighting Style, but his Design and personality have not grown on me yet (Maybe it'll change after his appearance in a potential SC7 Story, like SC6's story make me understand Amy more). But Talim, in the other hand, oh boy! She is my Fave character since her SC2 debut! So, here's my thoughts about her designs:
My №1 favorite costume is her SC3 1P. I just love this costume's silhouette, color scheme and her new hair! Her 2P from a same game is also nice, and I actually like her hat there! It's quite unique.
For some reason, I have a really hard time to make my opinion on her SC2 costumes, TBH... Actually, I can tell the same about almost a whole SC2's design in general, (Only Cerv's and Astaroths's costumes are good exceptions, and Inferno's look as a bad one) 0_0.
But... Her SC4 design... Oh god... I... I am not a huge fan of it (Like a whole SC4 in general). Her 1P costume there is a total mess for me. First - Her color scheme done strangely poorly and doesn't balanced well... Second - Her strange and exposed underwear... My biggest problem is a shape of her top. That crossed shape attracts an unnecessary attention on her... Ahem, to her chest... Why? Her other designs from previous game done that better with a more neutral tops, but in SC4 it looks like a fricking bikini! Why!? A hat is not bad, though
Her 2P costume is such a mystery to me that i can't make an opinion on it.
(Sorry for that twitter-like trigger... I'm not against showing more skins and sexualization, i just cant understand that element on Talim, who's all about purity... damn i hate SC4...)
Her SC6 design looks like her SC4 1P costume with an SC2 elements and fixed color scheme! And, yeah, it's my second fave costume! I liked the new hat and jacket! But, yeah, this stupid Bikini-like top strikes again... And it's even more revealing and in black, which is attracts an unnecessary attention even more! Well, at least i can change it in a CAS mode, and there's more good sides on this costume to whining about that... "uncomfortable detail".

@@Silvershire Well, my criticism is mostly aimed exclusively towards SC4. SC6's design for me is a really improved version of her SC4 outfit because of SC2 elements and fixed color balance. Like I said earlier, SC6 Talim's look is my second outfit because pros outweigh cons (So I personally ranged it 8/10). This stupid bra-like top, although it pisses me off, is just a design legacy from SC4, and there's nothing i can do about it (Some SC6 designs are a fusion of characters first appearances and they latest outfits. For example - Kilik's outfit is mostly his SC1 outfit with SC4/5's elements.)
SC4's design, on the other hand, is just too messy for me, even without this stupid bra-like top and exposed underwear. Elements don't work well and colors have no rhythm, and there's also brown elements that makes that costume even more dirty. SC6's color balance is just so much cleaner than this, more pleasing and relaxing to look (even with that stupid... well, you get the idea)!
Still, i really hope that in SC7 they remake her SC3 look. Seriously, this costume is DA BEST.
P.S.: (About my English) 0_0 Wow... You're a second one who said that... I'm surprised, tbh. Still, when I can, I really need to learn ENG properly, because i fill that i still missing something. Heck, i even don't remember "Past-simple and etc." rules and Irregular Verbs also didn't stick into my mind that well 0_0
Yun-Seong looks pretty good within all of his appearances, I especially love his primary costume in soul calibur 2 and his alternate in Soul Calibur 3.
Talim is usually styled really well, I am especially a huge fan of her Pink costume from Soul Calibur 2 and her blue costume in Soul calibur 3. I really dislike that they sexualized her design in Soul calibur 6 with the thong and underboob, it's creepy when you think about her age. I would love to see Tira from Soul Calibur as well, and I have to say I love how you do research into each character's history ❤

Cream represent calm, and comfort. It’s like vanilla, a more neutral flavour. which can still indicate innocence. Sky blue has another name, baby blue, so that colour also indicates youth. Green, blue and yellow are associated with wind. Red is associated with power and spirituality. Her golden accents show that she is revered by her people. Colour theory is always contextual! (Which I’m certain the author of the video knows)
Also, in SCIV she is 18. Her 2P outfit is a reference to monks (Think avatar aang, probably the inspiration because of her wind abilities) the paws are to show her connections to nature in general, that’s why she had DoDo birds on her stage.

I kinda liked Yun Seong’s Soul Calibur 2 design since it looked more traditional. His Soul Calibur 3 design looks like he’s about to go on vacation while his Soul Calibur 4 design has the stupid bandanna on.
