Hi Globik, I have recently found your channel and been really enjoying watching your videos. Funnily, your channel got recommended to me because I was looking at some cee-lo (some Chinese dice game) videos and got your video with liar's dice. I have watched all of the recent Philippines videos and some from Vietnam and China, really loving the ones where you go to obscure marketplaces or malls. Of all of the Asian countries you have visited, which one would you consider was the friendliest? From what I have seen in your Philippines videos you really got to interact with a lot of nice people.

All the countries I've been to so far have been very friendly. The Philippines might seem friendlier to some people because a lot of Filipinos speak very good English. They are more likely to be outgoing with strangers knowing that most will understand them. In other countries, people will be less tempted to engage a conversation knowing that they can't speak the other person's language. But if you get passed that language barrier, most people are very friendly and welcoming everywhere.
I had same experience in my country with curfew lol, I went on a trip at another part of my country...like for real curfew🙄
By the Airbnb host?
I don't get it - the airbnb address given to you is not the actual property being rented? That's against airbnb policy. Sounds like a bait and switch. Anyone looking up the address would think they were going to be staying near the action, and this guy picks you up and drags you to Podunk? You have to report the listing to airbnb to save other people from being scammed.
Yeah. It's definitely a bait and switch situation. Have should have reported it, but at the time, I was mostly focusing on getting things sorted out, finding a place to stay and making sure I was refunded.

Yeah man! It was a really sketchy stair case. Unfortunately, the angle was not great to really show it well because I was carrying my luggage. I should have gone back up to show it better. There's like a weird locked gate to go from the 2nd to the 3rd.

That's why the Philippines are losing for me compared to for example Thailand and Vietnam. You are getting more bang for your buck in other countries. 20 bucks for a sh*thole place in the provinces.
You definitely get more bang for your buck in Vietnam. Thailand, not so sure. But I feel like each places have their own pros and cons. It all depends on what you're looking for.
