I've actually been trying to find a broody banty hen. This upcoming spring I'm planning to raise California Valley Quail and release them into the wild, and want a broody banty to hatch them and teach them to watch out for hawks.
Just wondering what you did with her at night time? Was she still in the cage but in the coop? If so, was she off the ground? I'm dealing with my first broody so this was really helpful. Thanks!
