For me he didn’t spawn but if you mash the left side when walking near melve he’ll respond
apparently the maid got fired and now stands outside in a tent infront of The Gracious Hand , The Father there tell us that Daphne and Sebastian are twins and the mother abandoned her over inheretence and that is why she now gives a lot to the Cracious Hand. Also Daphne just vanished at this point, so now i have no idea if this has any more cause it seems a bit incomplete to me.
She's either wondering around or maybe dead in the morgue. Anyhow I've interacted multiple times with all the npcs envolved and it seems the quest ends at it is, with a filthy secret from that bitch mother.
The quest continues, after you will discover she’s the sister of him. The non give her in the orphanage because was worried about fighting for the future inheritance and the however of the orphanage ask you to keep the secret because he get a lot of money from the noble family. The only problem is the quest don’t appear in the quest list, now I am stock and I don’t know what to do

Edit: it's not a bug. If he's sleep/unconscious or poisoned you'll need a potion to cure the debilitation and if he's dead youll need a waking stone
I was here wondering why Sebastian wouldn't allow me to deliver the items... I was talking to Daphne who I thought was Sebastian 😂

i gave him random items and an extra step was given to me which made me go all the way to meldiv and rescue him. I lost my save and did it again and he died there. Now im here to do it right.
the supplies you need to give Sebastian, is mentioned by the maid and little girl. maid talked about plants being toxic and makes someone drowsy. the little girl talks about the road being dangerous and having something reek of cyclops.
I didn't give him the right tools but I was still able to save him. Now it says go back to the manor to tell everyone he's safe but nothing happens.
Same for me, I think there is a bug.

Same here. My quest reads, "Bring word of Sebastians fate back to his family manor." But nothing happens when I speak to the two girls in the house. I went back to Melve and looked for him but he's nowhere to be found. I checked along the paths too, nothing
I did it just fine. Thing is after a long time Kendrick tells me I need to make sure Daphne says nothing about it because that family donates a ton of money so he reveals she is her twin. I want to do something about it but nothing really happens. Anyone got there?

yeah I saved him and when he came back home after 2 days diana is no where to be found and the quest won't finish because of this. She's not dead I have checked the morgue just missing and no amount of sleeping or waiting changes it.

I think I'm glitched. I gave him the wrong items. I found him getting attacked by goblins at night, after I killed them, he said he thinks he was poisoned, and knocks out unconscious. The mission acts as if I didn't find him yet, and I can't wake him up.

So where is he if I don't give him the right stuff. Says I gotta look for him but I circled the whole highland area for half the day can't find him or his body anywhere

@@user-fr6lt5ym7m another guy posted a minute or 2 video that shows him asleep in some bushes next 2 the main road. Found him soon as I watched it
God after spending a whole day in game I found him sleeping next to a collectable plant. Look at the map facing north there should be two material spots (or ore collectable) he should be on that second mark. Main road ground level not on top hills he is just hidden behind bush on your right side

I mean their kids look alike , my best guess they are twins and the mother gave daphne up to the church , thats why she keep giving donations to feel less guilty , and she exploded like that thinking the maid told daphne the truth ...
I did everything right and then the mother goes to "talk" to the maid then one of them comes down and tries to beat the shit out of me. Im so confused.

I gave him the wrong itens and he died so i get to him use a stone to revive him and he comes back to the house,quest completed.
i gave him wrong items then i revived him with the wakestone cause i found him dead inside the bushes outside melve next to small trees
I have the bug that when i go into the house of sebastion i get instantly atacked from him and can't do anny thing against it(also My pawns attack sometimes random NPC's in the city and than i have to run)

I go back to tell his family about his fate, he was alive and heading back but I can’t tell anyone why it’s so annoying
Well I think I did sumthing wrong because at the end of the quest the mother just started slapping me until my pawns took her out.
How to start the quest? She is standing at the bottom of the stairs and not giving me the quest I completed the gift of giving.
Oh my god this is so lame...I picked her up, and put her down at the top of the stairs and she gave me the quest...stupidest thing I've ever seen in a game...
After completing this quest successfully. Their mom, Natasha came running back from upstairs and started slapping my face, then before i could de-escalate, my pawns all killed her right on the spot. What to do now? Is this a bug or intended behavior from her? Is the mom supposed to be killed by (my hand) like that?
No idea. Didn't happen to me, just the mother saying "I got nothing to say to the sorts of you".
That didn't happen to me but anytime a NPC dies you can resurrect them with a wakestone on the spot or find their body in the Vermund Charnel House and then resurrect them. The proper ending to this quest is the mom firing the maid and the maid is now living in the slums

@dripchief117 no. Ill have to try again on ngplus. I think i walked into that house at the beginning of the game and a woman and kid attacked me and my pawn killed them. They were probably essential to the quest

@dripchief117 i played dd1 alot and its normal to mess up some quests on the first go around. Ngplus is built into the lore

They started attacking me for no apparent reason so my pawns killed them. Wtf? Lol

Close he disappeared when I’m supposed to give him the ingredients, there was a yellow indicator but no Sebastian now there is no indicator. I checked the morgue not dead he just evaporated can’t progress the quest. There sure is a lot of this in the game uggh

This quest made no sense. Mevand my pawns got attsaked by the whole family at the end. No ckue whatvwas going on
Fyi, if you return a few days later to the mansion, the keeper will be in the slums and you will find out they are siblings.

Fking waste of time of a quest. Searched everywhere for the bastard and nowhere to be found. Now they want me to report back on his fate lmao.
More or less, all the quests are garbage and not worth the time, it's best to travel and make your own story. I really love this game but I have more then 70hrs and I still haven't finished Brant first quest (I did few parts of it but coronation still waits). Game is simply better if you play your own story, at least for now and for me. Characters are well played and voice acting is quite good but story is odd/awkward, cut scenes are odd and I have a feeling they added a story after they finished the game 😂😂 . Still, it's one of the best RPG I played .. really strange game :) (in a good way)
