- In this video I will be talking about the crit chance change to the SMG's and how this will affect the way that you want to build around it. Some things may be obvious but after doing the calculations behind some things I actually ended up being surprised by a few of the results myself as well.

thanks for making this Marco, I recently got a MP5, it's rolls aren't the best but at least I can now make the mods for when I do get the perfect SMG, I'm hoping that it'll still work decently while running that healer build you mentioned a few videos back. ^^

Well done!! Been struggling at last Stand until I raised my firearms to 7000 and stamina 5000. It's the magic numbers to face trade with striker mp7 modded like your video. Now my lame ass is near the top on the board every match.

thank you so much for this. this is exactly what I was looking for. currently running 3 piece Alphabridge for the 5% weapon DMG. I was also experimenting with my Navy MP5 and decided to go with a small magazine but with 11.10% fire rate. I also have hurried on it so I'm melting people faster with my 1 second reloads. Lmk what you think
Got my Barret vest last night from exotic cach. it had godly rolls. high firearms, Slightly over average armour, Health on kill, ammo capacity, and rerolled for hp.

Is there some sort of spreadsheet for 1.6 that shows all the minx/max rollls for items so I can more easily figure out what items and weapons to keep?
Great video. You're probably way ahead of me on this request, but are you going to do one for Assault Rifles? I've been mostly a PvE'r since this game came out, but I'm looking at getting into PvP now. I got an LVOA-C I really like using, but don't know how to correctly gear it out.

I really, really love your SMG and AR modding guides. Are you going to release on for marksmen rifles? If not, is it because you don't play with them much or is it because it may be more obvious to mod them with HSD, crit chance and crit damage?
hey marco, with patch 1.8 and all does your guide on smg still valid when selecting weapon talents? mainly for the exotic "the House". can you provide some insight on what talents we should look for if per say were going for a tank build(D3FNC set mainly )

What do you say about the Self-Preserved talent? Is that useful at all, or does the added sustain just not outweigh the loss of damage?
ive never crafted or seen a level 34 extended magazine higher than 112% and ive crafted peobably over 100 of them trying to get the prefect magazine. where do i get a 124% mag size from??
If you're using a high end build and cant use savage gloves what would you recommend? (Using Mc Gloves)

Are there 121% mag clips in the game? I have yet to see anything above 115%

So I have a question regarding the Crit Damage and where it come from? I have 60 from the mods and 16 from gloves and if I am not running deadly I am at 76 and maybe plus 8 from pulse. 84 total .... do I sacrifice health from backpack and kneepads?
deadly is working all the time! with 50% chc it's around 8% damage boost.. no need for using a skill or get in with 10 meters.. so I think deadly is the best talent for smgs.. goede video trouwens ;)
what do u think about the SASG-12 shotgun with the golden build best weapon mods?

Like your videos and have a weapon question. I found a 229 MP5 Burst that has continued to out DPS every 256 weapon I find except for the occasional marksman rifle. Am I unlucky with the random gods or did I just happen to get a god roll on the 229 weapon. Getting really frustrated that I can't find a better 256 weapon.

I'm curious how you're getting to 110 without deadly. I'm coming up with 102. 60 mods. 17 gloves. And 25 native. What am I missing?
Hey I'm not sure if this only for legacy items but my holster doesn't roll for critical hit chance it rolls for reload speed and HP like 9000 so I picked HP, also I'm on console, is that the case for no crit chance?
Is there a suppressor for smg with 16-20 crit damage?
are those values at 1:23 reliable? I heard the mag size doesn't excede 110%..
which SMG do you suggest? I'm still always a fan for the Navy MP5 or MP7, I see you using the UMP style. Also would you make any changes to your build guide for Assault rifles for 1.6? I'm looking for a strong balanced solo build, Assault rifle for PvE and SMG for PvP. A solo DZ build.
I'm curious how you spec into all firearms but still have 300k toughness. Help?

I have an honest question Macro? I run a Defence tank build, and have health rolled on my armor, which to get my crit up into the realm of murder (and murder it does) I needed to use the high rolls....Should I respec gear to crit and set up the SMG with crit dmg? is it worth the loss of survivablity for the extra damage?

At 11:00 you say that we expect to have 120% CHD with this build, but I only get around 90% CHD.
I don't know how to get more, and I don't understand how you got it. What am I missing?
One thing that does confuses me is you keep showing crit chance on holsters, however i don't know if it is because of the console version or not but on all my holsters even at the recalibration there is no crit chance option. does this means you have to find it that way if that is even possible?
if you do not have a Loud vent break yet, would you recommend the Ti-Rant Suppressor or Osprey .45 until said vent break?

Hi Marco, great job. I just started to play the game in patch 1.5 and Enemy armor dam. was something useful. Do you think it's still useful in PVE. Also, would you consider you Assault Rifle mod guide still optimal? Cheers!
is there any way to do a mod guide for snipers pve mode? a few friends an I run snipers pretty heavily and we would like to see your thoughts on sniper builds and a sniper mod guide. Any chances of this?
Marco, would you recommend a 3 piece Banshee, 2 piece Predator with the Ninga Bag? This would mean 7% less of crit chance for missing the SAVAGE globes. Or maybe a 2/2 with NINJA and SAVAGE? Just not sure what is better, the 7% Crit Chance or the extra 10%- 20% damage to rogues and 10% protection from non rogues, when rogue.
