Thanks for doing that, my wire got loose and I fixed it with your help. The whole thing fell down when I opened it up and all the parts fell out, so now I know how it goes together. Thanks.
Thanks for showing the internal wiring. Had a friend who bought it from someone that had disconnected all the wires. Connected to right positions and it fired up!
Same here 🤷 Wife was mowing and it just stopped, not even 2 hours on it and I have a replacement coming. All switches good but no power to the switches
First thing I would do is change to a different battery I have the 2 20v XR 10 ah batteries they were charged fully over time I noticed the it wouldn't finish my lawn on a single charge I would check the batteries and 1 would have 2 bars and 1 would have 3 bars this morning I went to start mower and the batteries were full y charged all I got was it to turn on and off immediately with the blinking red light and thought to trouble shoot lots of parts to start with .......instead went and put in 2 20v XR 5 ah batteries are it started and mowed the hole lawn think there might be a battery problem worked for me now will try and figure out what's wrong with 10ah batteries
I'm sending mine it for the same issue. It didn't happen all at once for me though. It started by not wanting to come back on after running/stopping. Then it started loosing torque and would shut off when using the self-propelled feature. And now it won't start at all. So you just got a replacement? They want me to mail mine in.
DeWalt just sent me the replacement warranty mower, and that's what I was waiting on before I tore into this one more, to make sure DeWalt didn't require me to send it back or something like that, but someone mentioned some red wires, & checking the connection points, so I got some other projects in the works but I'll try to get to this one here shortly
@@DrewsBackYardMechanics trying to check now. I think I’ve had it just under 3 years - from Home Depot. The other pain is that I’m in Canada and not sure how that’s going to work out. It’s all very annoying. The very reason I wanted a battery mower was for no fuss
@@danwhiffen9235 you should be able to look up online DeWalt warranty and then once you call that number there will be options you can push the button for which option you need for which warranty cause it'll be like outdoor power equipment or something for DeWalt, yeah unfortunately DeWalt had some mistakes in their mowers this year maybe they'll be better this year I don't know yet but Ego 56v has been good for outdoor power equipment.
@@angelramirez9993 bu using a multimeter, its a red connector , its just made bad, if you just eliminate the connector and put the wires together it should be good
I believe the motherboard is shot or something went wrong with the motor 🤷🏼, DeWalt discontinued this model I think for this very reason, the had to many issues, they're supposed to come out with a new model this spring and we're just waiting on the warranty process to get this one replaced with the new model, and then I might tear it down, to see what's wrong. 👍🏼

@@johnjkizer6399 There is no red wire or connector on this model. It's a green and white wire with no connecting points that run directly to the motor.

The problem is the red power line connector on the right side of the handle, just has a bad connector.
