Thank you for the advice, I have some hair straightening tools and heat protection products but my curly hair is so long I get nervous to use them lol (hard part is heating tools getting stuck despite me detangling beforehand, maybe I need to use a comb in front of an iron), I'm used to adding water and conditioner + cream for defined curls, but once in a while I'd like to do something different and have straight hair. Your hair is so beautiful and thick! Sending you love and support your way. Hair salons is getting so expensive these days and not many knows how to deal with curly hair, so I'd rather save some money and do it myself, plus I can add extra heat protection or product before using the iron. I'm still learning.
You can trying Dyson airstrait for your straightening next time,this is the flat iron for blowout tools not hot plate. You need trimming your hair after straightening looks uneven the ends. You can trying cut a soft u shape at the back making ends even and full.
This is gorgeous, but not a classic silk press because the cuticles are not sealed. There's still so much texture left behind. Very, VERY gorgeous though of course. Any humidity at all and this press will begin to revert. True silk presses stand up to humidity in a big way. This looks to be a classic blow out. I'm thinking the curly shampoo formula left too much humectant behind to get those cuticles sealed to go full silk press.

That’s not none straight but it is pretty straight. You’re hair has definitely flourished
Very pretty and all but let's not be delulu this is not a SILK press it's a regular straightening with the iron.
