This is so far the only Motiongate ride I've seen that actually has a clear, easy to follow story, and I jsut to hold this under the noses of the park developers saying "See, See, This is how make a good dark ride!"

@@Eneruess It's both. A coaster/dark ride hybrid. The Mummy ride at Universal is the same category, for example.
This ride looks suprisingly fun! It has great puppetry, the only thing that bothers me is the use of the tv screens, that could have been better.

I think it would definitely be neat if they built a Dreamworks themed park in the US. This reminded me of the Harry Potter ride at Universal but your suspended from a track above vs being on an extended arm thing.

Imagine an attraction set up very similar to The wizarding world of harry potter only with a "How to train your Dragon" theme. The Area would designed to look like the area of berk. There would be a gift shop full of How to train your dragon toys and costumes, a restaurant and then a meet and greet area where you would meat people dressed like Hiccup and Astrid and all there friends and an animatronic Toothless. Then there would be a roller coaster similar to the tron ride in japan. Each person would ride their own Night Fury. Sure that may not seat too many people a time but it would totally be worth the wait. I think that's what they should do for the upcoming park "Epic Universe"!
Ok got to admit, this looks pretty fun. Could use some magic, but fun. Also the toothless dragon at the end was adorable!

mad pursuit looks great but the theming in this park is awesome
I can tell it might be trying to be Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. :P At least it does seem appealing and moves quickly eventually.

I've been hearing that for Orlando's Dragon Gliders could use the same ride system as Forbidden Journey at IOA.

Seeing these rides in Dubai makes me appreciate Disney and their use of perspective even more. This was the best one, but that's not saying much.

They only had the money for half decent show scenes because they couldn't figure out how to make a trackless vehicle hang from the ceiling.

I think they should build a ride coaster with augmented reality goggles that lets you experience really riding in the back of toothless. That would be awesome.

This was a great ride. Same ride system as Arthur at Europa-Park. World class attraction.

I actually lived in Dubai for 7 years of my childhood and went to this park a lot. I did ride this ride but I was like 7 back then and I thought it was the scariest ride ever. Now that I look at it I feel like an idiot.

From a theming point this is definitly the Highlight of Motiongate.
There are two more decent Rollcer Coasters (incidently all by MackRides) - but their theming is... Well, there...
What I didn't get: Madgascar Mad Pursuit is BORING, yet it was the only attraction with any kind of line when I was there.
Bullet Train, Green Hornet and Dragon Gliders where more or less show up and board throughout the whole day - and that's what I did, especially on the Gliders ;)

Very nice. Only complaint is that the climax seemed rushed a bit. Overall, with a little bit of polish, I think it could go from an 8 to a 10.

edit: wait, nvm. Maybe not. It seems to be suspended from the ceiling itself, not attached to an arm. Still a cool ride though. Too bad it's not worth it to go since it's surrounded by utter shit :/
