So looking forward to seeing him on tour this year..been a fan since my early teens. My first ever concert was the Last World Dream in Birmingham in 1985 and have seen Howard many times since.
Howard Jones changed my outlook on life with his song, "What is love anyway", 'does anybody love anybody anyway'. When you're 15 years old and you hear that, it's like wow! Video filmed in France, the young lady at the start of the video I always liked. I watch his video even recently. Greetings from Sydney Australia.
As a synth guy myself, Howard has been a huge influence on me. I used to listen intently to every aspect of every song on Human's lib with my headphones on, and his productions and drum programming was incredible for back then. Oh man, I lapped that up! I remember exactly where i was when i heard, 'Hide and seek', and to be honest, i thought...oh howard, this kind of song wont go down well. (Oh how wrong was i) I had to go through a bit of Conditioning 😉to get to like it, but once i did, i absolutely loved it!! I love playing along to all the songs still (well it's how i found this interview). Good interview guys!
Howard Jones and Tears for Fears such happy musicians and such great music! Music makes such a positive difference in people's lives. He does NOT sound like Morrissey.
Howard Jones & the 80s was the best decade ❤🎶🎛 Always thought he was gay wearing colorful clothes 😊 Duran Duran 🎸 Pet Shop Boys 🎛🎵 New Order 🎵🎶🎶 the list is endless
Love Hojo Unfortunately You get two people interviewing Musicians who know nothing about music. Poor interview by these two As howard hoping to see him in Cardiff next month 🙏
"I don't know if you know this guy, he is a guy from the United States2 would have been the right thing to say Howard. I'm not European, I live in one of the 35 countries of the American continent, so that makes me an American, (no I'm not a United Statesian - the word does exist in some dictionnaries, like le Petit Robert). I'd love to be European though !
Wow when she compared Howard Jones to New Order. I mean I'm sorry but Howard Jones is ten thousand times better than New Order. He handled that really well.
He is too modest to say he is a classically trained musician as a graduate of the Northern College of Music in Manchester. Humans Lib and Dream Into Action are both fantastic albums which has a huge influence on me. Nina Warhurst is a poor presenter and clearly ill informed about New Order. He does not sound like Morrissey, either. Some of these interviews with musicians are cringeworthy.
Love him and his music ❤
I love this man and his positive attitude, his music really does uplift the spirit
Thank You for helping to uplift me in difficult times with such relatable songs Howard. Love to you for following your Nose and your Heart 👃❤
He wrote and played extraordinary songs...... ❤

I am SO pleased this talented humble man has made it BIG! I remember his days from High Wycombe to.........THE WORLD
I was born in 1982 in High Wycombe and my middle sister used to knock his door after walking home from school (before I knew who he was.)
So looking forward to seeing him on tour this year..been a fan since my early teens. My first ever concert was the Last World Dream in Birmingham in 1985 and have seen Howard many times since.
@Howard Jone You don't even know how to spell your own surname...Howard! Howard Jones has only one subscriber!!! Hmmm.
Thanks for the memories Howard 😊
Great artist bring back memories of the 80s

And said new order and joy division were 90s, they predate him 😂

That Jupiter 8 synth is pure sex! You own one now and they are big big bucks
I don’t know what I want more - the Jupiter-8 or the $30k it would take to buy one!

She says he sounds like Morrisey? He does in his bollix sound like Morrisey, nothing against Morrisey though, love The Smiths.
Howard trivs bäst som det är nu . Han vill inte vara en super stjärna
