I think that the minimalistic spread works really well if, like you said, you get overwhelmed by how so many other CZcamsrs create their spreads with so much detail and so many different spreads. It’s better to make your journal work for you so that you stay invested in keeping track of the books you read. Very wise choice. And honestly it’s inspiring to see because you’re being true to yourself and you’re understanding and honoring your limits. I’m sure there are plenty more, like myself, who find it refreshing.

Thanks, I think and hope so too! 😅And makes me very happy to hear that! 🤗

Considering that my reading journal looks nothing like yours, I really liked the end result. You managed to make it look tidy and clean instead of empty, and for some reason that was very soothing. Well done!📙

I appreciate minimalistic approaches for reading journals :) Min has a bit more decoration but at the end of the day its the same - what I need as a reader :)

Happy to hear that ☺️ and as long as you enjoy your set up, that's all that matters! 🤗

I love storygraph! Couldn't work with goodreads, aesthetic is weirdly important/ calming to me😅

Same!! Goodreads is like using a website from 2010, not very fun 😅 and I looove the statistics at storygraph!

I have exactly the same feelings about fantasy. It‘s just nothing for me personally

Oh that's nice to hear, I'm not alone with that! Seeing all these fantasy book trends gives me a bit of fomo but why fear missing out on something that don't really enjoy 😅

Of course! I just finished "unmasked" by Ellie Middleton and found it incredibly great, since it covers both autism and ADHD equally, and I can also recommend "unmasking autism" from Dr Devon Price. Both great books to begin with, but also if you've already done a lot of research 😉
