  • This is my clock collection for Monday, July 13th, 2020. I have a few more clocks arriving and I'm going to update you all when they do.
I primarily upload my music on this channel, but I wanted to show off my clocks as well. This is a hobby besides music-making that I also do, collecting clocks. Horology is interesting to me.
Clocks are very interesting to me. I've always wanted to collect them. I only got around to doing this recently. Mostly inspired by clock CZcamsrs such as ClockTV and TommyWylie. I enjoy both of their content. Hopefully, they see this! I'd very much like them to see! c:

8:00 when I was young my parents use to have a clock like this, sadly we don’t have it, But I remember I use to mess up the time on the clock, my parents would get mad at me, but man you’ve got a lot of clocks

I'm very thorough in this video with the chimes. I won't be super thorough in the next one. I'll glance over most clocks, only set off one of their quarters. I'll leave timestamps for each clock if you don't' feel like sitting through the entire 10 minutes. Which I completely understand if you don't. C:
    *0:00** AMS-348* (Black Forest, so I'm told.)
*0:36** Novelty cuckoo clock* (I'm aware of the manufacturer name, it is just slipping my mind at the moment. If you're curious, simply ask.)
*0:53** Trend (A company by Sligh) triple-chime wall clock.* (Powered by a Hermle movement.)
*3:09** Waterbury Tambour mantel clock* (This was the first mechanical clock I've ever received. Had it since 2015, and I got it for Christmas.)
*4:28** Hamilton Westminster chime clock* (Also powered by a Hermle movement. I'm not very familiar with the Hamilton clock company. I'd love to hear info if any clock enthusiasts have any! I know for the most part that I can't find many other clocks that are similar to the one I own on CZcams. I mostly see bracket mantel clocks made by them.)
*5:33** Seth Thomas mantel clock* (I am _very_ unaware of any history on Seth Thomas clocks and haven't gone out of my way to try and do any research on Seth Thomas clocks such as the one in my possession. I'm very new to clock collecting, so feel free to leave any information you know about this particular Seth Thomas in the comments.)
*6:05** Hermle and Seiko anniversary clocks* (Unfortunately the Hermle's carousel doesn't spin anymore, as the wire that spun it snapped, the Seiko doesn't strike the correct hour which bugs me a lot, but I live with it.)
*7:08** Revere Telechron powered Westminster chime clock* (You may notice first off that the clock isn't in great cosmetic condition. I'm well aware. My philosophy currently is with the amount of limited workspace that I have, and the lack of materials, and knowledge to fix any wood, I am going to leave it as is. Because as a clock, it is doing its job perfectly well. Keeping very accurate time and chiming when it should. I'm very surprised that with its age it is holding up as well as it is.)
*8:00** Seiko 30 day striking art deco wall clock* (The movement is imprinted with "Seikosha", which is a branch company of Seiko. I'm aware that they've made plenty of other wall clocks, and I've seen different wall clocks by them labeled off as Seiko, such as mine, but also some labeled as Seikosha, the actual branch company. Most labeled "Seikosha" from what I've seen I can only find in Japanese clock videos. The seller told me that my particular model was popular back in the 60s to 70s, but I'm unsure if that is the correct manufacturing date for the movement. Couldn't find any imprinted anywhere. Clock history is kind of limited as I'm discovering. Unless I'm just looking in the wrong places!)
*8:57** Linden travel alarm clock... And a cheap Quartz alarm clock* (The movement is made in Japan. Though I _think_ Linden is actually a German company from what I'm reading? Don't take my word on that, I'm not entirely sure! Again, for the millionth time, if you know info on Linden, please enlighten me! I'm unsure of how to properly set the names of the cities all around the face of the clock, not even my local clock shop's owner knows how. If it's for more than just decoration it'd be great to know how to set it!) ...Oh yeah and the little Quartz powered clock. I stole that from my sister because she wasn't using it (with her permission, of course.)
*9:25** Schneider Black Forest cuckoo clock* (This guy runs for one day, I have affectionately named the bird inside Jerry... Don't ask. Anyway, this isn't actually mine. This is my parent's first-anniversary gift they went and picked out at the same clock shop that I visit today! They allowed me to take it because they knew I wanted to start a collection. I run it in my room every day now, as before I took it in my room, it was just sitting in the living room gathering dust on the wall, not ticking at all, which kind of made me sad. So they let me bring it to my room as an addition to the collection.)
*9:52* you may notice that I tried to censor a clock. But due to my editing messing up, and the amount of time it took to render this video... I just decided to leave it in. It is simply another Quartz powered clock with visuals that mean a lot to me as of recently.
*10:00** Westclox and Bulova alarm clocks.* (Both I have managed to break before. Unfortunately, I'm not the smartest person to exist, and I do a lot of dumb stuff. The Westclox was knocked over when I went to grab it to wind it. That knocked some gears out of their pivots, particularly the winding mechanism section. Thankfully it was an easy fix and I was able to realign the gears back into their proper position, so it works fine now. The only occasional problem I have with it is that it will randomly stop, though with patience and a gentle shaking it starts back up again. As for the Bulova... It used to have a front face glass... Until I dropped it and broke it. The movement was already having trouble keeping proper time, it randomly jumps from too fast to too slow, and to add to that, breaking the glass wasn't exactly the happiest of days for me. Dust gets on it but a paper towel can usually fix that easily. It's an easy fix to get some new glass cut for it, though I don't exactly want to pay for that at the moment, and I wish to leave it as it is for the moment. It will be fixed eventually for sure.)
That wraps that up! I'll catch ya later.

7:06 you said the striking is incorrect, cuz its the test mode, when you change the lever to westminister or wigginton (idk if i spelled that right) it only strikes 1 time. if you let the clock tick by it self it will chime the right amount of times
