This entire generation is facing a new set of problems we don’t have easy answers for. Stop diminishing and misconstruing my comment’s intention.
@TenTenJ I'm aware of the issues that come with screen addiction, and the parents are managing those concerns. However, Kobe has always been watching the TV screen with his parents, before having this child-sized screen. Watching a screen isn't new for Kobe, only the size has changed. He's just growing up.
I do wish that Sandy wouldn't allow Kobe to ignore his father without a greeting when he comes home. Just as she enforces no screen-watching at dinnertime, I think children should be taught that respect as they grow.
It's not personal, just an objective observation, while also understanding that a few seconds of video can't tell the whole story of someone's life. So I don't overreact as if it does.
