Sounds like a great idea :) I have a cover video that may help also :) czcams.com/video/xwg-JfS5tbw/video.html
Thanks, I didn't realize it was so easy to play.
Love this. My daughter is 5 and learning piano. She has a recital coming up soon at a retirement home. We might pick this song
aww
Also - for Angel Baby - it might help you to put letters on the keys. I bought the letters for this keyboard at Office Depot. You can make your own (using file folder labels). The letters help when you are just starting out. Just follow the pattern shown on the keyboard on my website. Angel Baby is a great song to play because the bass keeps repeating throughout entire song - and melody is easy to play.
you are a great teacher
can you do a tutorial for I like the way you love me by Brenton Wood
i love this man. !
Uncle June Bug serio haha ! Plenty of pussy with that song hahaha
@LetternotePlayer Thank you for letting me know about the other videos.
Excellent!
@ElvisLA - Great - It is very easy and fun to play . Check out my other videos every once in a while. I'll keep putting up some oldies each week. Let me know if there is one you want to do. Since you like this one, you might want to check out my video showing how to play 'Try me' by James Brown or 'In the Still of the Night' by the five Satins. Both of these are very similar
@LilCookie04 just played them in both keys - I'm gonna do one in the higher key first (starting on 'B') - key of G. It is easier to play. Then I'll put up a vid & notes in the lower key - key of E. I'll write you as soon as I have notes up on the letternote website. Then I'll put up the video. Probably can get notes up this weekend.
@LilCookie04 Good ! ... that is the video I referenced for the notes & video tutorial that I put up over the weekend. It is in the same key, same notes, etc. Check it out. I focus on the melody & bass notes - only way to show bass, & chords & melody is to sing the melody. Check out the tutorial & notes - lemeknow if you want something else added ...
@LilCookie04 sorry - I meant hillsong - typo. The songs I mentioned were by hillsong united - musta typed hillside by mistake. anyway the "here I am to Worship" by hillsong united - that I listened to is all instrumental - the one I described yesterday. Is that the one?
yes - best app is probly the Garage Band app from Apple for $4.99. I'll send a link to you that I think will work for you - and it is free :)
your a really good player thank u and can u put up a video and always and forever by heatwave?
@LilCookie04 I have the notes up for you on letternote website - You can prob'ly use them to start playing it - Key of G. Will put up video ASAP
@LilCookie04 looked at two videos - sent you youtube links let me know if you have a key preference
@LilCookie04 ok - I just looked it up there is one by hillside and one by hillside united - both of them are good songs. I'll do the one by hillside united first, then probably work on the other one also - just to clarify - the hillside united version was all instrumental and with kind of a lullaby / toy piano sound. Is that the one u want ? - might take me a week or two. I'll start on it 2-nite.
Classic doowop!
👍🏾
no its the one exactly called Here I am to Worship- Hillsong United 0001
I was trying to follow along with notes on the pdf file, but you hit different keys that are not in sync with pdf sheet music you have for download.
Not sure which notes you mean. I hit an occasional melodic grace note - and then played a tag with chords at the end of the video; also play the Introduction ... Those letter notes are a little disjointed - the introduction notes are first, then the RH melody, then hands together, then the soprano descant melody, and the Sax interlude. Using the .pdf file - I'd get the RH melody down first, then the Bass line (C-A-F-G-gab...) then try them - hands together. Once you can play the melody with the Bass - then I'd go back and add the Introduction - add soprano descant & sax solo last :)
He is right there is a couple spots where your letter notes are different from what you are playing.
could you put the song here i am to worship by hillsong united???? please
Reminds me of Theme from Angelmouse
Hells yeah my guy, I'm finna get hella bitches thx to you
JasapOG hah...this is the first song I learned on guitar when I was very young...and yes it will get you hella girls yo..
Btw what tone you play this my dude?
I do have a casio. You can play whatever you want. I'd start with Thizzle Dance by Mac Dre (check out my video) - that'll get you playing with 2 hands - in about 10 minutes. Then try playing Frere Jacques to play a chord in your left hand and a melody in the right hand. I'll put up a video on that tonight. Next I'd probably try Jingle Bells (I have a video & LetterNotes for that) , Lion King, and then Titanic (with simplified bass). I have all of those up - in 2 days you'l have 5 songs:)
can you do "you are so beautiful" by Joe cocker
Paola Medrano hell no nigga
I was alf in a former life :))))))
Thank you!You should consider singing!
Can someone give me the tab for this?
The LetterNotes are available from the website.
John Nelson Thank you!!
Wow, I want to understand music so badly.
Aye Mr. Nelson from alba
:) still makin' music?
search magic piano
nooooo i said hillSONG united not hillside!
A good tutorial but one note of criticism. you should show how to play the entire song right from the start, instead of showing how to play sections of the song all mixed up. Also, it serves no purpose in singing out the letters on the keyboard since it´s in plain view. Should sing the lyrics instead.
Too dam dark ! Not enough light! Cannot see in the dark!
This song did NOT come out in the fifties
You're right ... 1960 ... But the chord progression ( I, VI, IV, V) was a standard 50's style ... And is still used by contemporary artists.
