In this video I do a comparison of Zink paper and Fujifilm Instax film, to give you an idea of what you should think about, if you're deciding which to go with.
Great comparison! I just got the Polaroid Insta-Share Printer Mod for my Moto Z4 that uses Zink paper. Yeah, it loses some of that analog look & feel, but I like how it's cheaper and less wasteful. Plus I like being able to tune the image before I print it.
No idea since neither technology is even that many years old. I would personally go with Instax being more stable, and it has a cardboard backing, so the print is more rigid and would help it last longer.
Zink tech is dyes, which usually don't last more than 10 years. And if it's the cheap kind, it can fade after 2-3 years. Film, if well-preserved inside a sleeve, can go a bit longer.
I haven’t tried, but you technically could. But the HP zink paper packets have a calibration card, and you would need one of those to trick the printer into thinking that you’re using HP’s Zink paper. I’ve always used HP paper because it was the cheapest.

I found this so so useful! I've been debating whether to get the HP Spocket or Instaxprinter for 2 months now. Thank you so much for your video!

Yes there is a 3x3
Hi there, I was curious, do you know which photos would have great longevity, say 20, 30 years from now.

My mom accidentally put a pic I took of her in the washing machine and it looks like nothing happened to it
@@loreacolor9134 That's amazing! Which type was it?

Does instax mini fil works on Polaroid Pogo?
Hi Chelsea, no it uses Zink paper like the HP sprocket
Hey! Do you know if I can use any zink paper in the hp printer?

Just make sure it's the right size. HP makes 2x3 and a plus version that's slightly bigger and I don't think that'll fit in the standard printer
Can we use instaxfilm in printer
Yes, in Instax printers or mini liplay camera which works as a printer
hey, i wanted to ask if we can use zink paper in instax mini camera?
No, they are different types of materials, besides the sizes... No, absolutely different each one
Zink prints look like shit and unless you need or really like the sticky back theres no point in zink
Yep, agree with you there.
The colors on the Zink picture look all wrong, very reddish and bland. It's certainly more detailed but it feels boring.
