So I’m new to this whole Larry thing and I’m not an anti but I was just wondering if they r both gay and have been dating each other for the last 10 years. Where did Freddie come from?
i've always thought that some of the biggest proof that the kid isn't louis' is that if he really were, the situation would have been handled basically the opposite way of how they did it. louis is an internationally famous millionaire, and at the time was still being marketed towards teenage (and younger) girls. if he actually knocked up a girl he met in a club, for both his personal and professional benefit, his team would have kept it as quiet as possible, probably would have been throwing ndas around left and right, and they definitely would have strongly advised (i.e. forced) him to get a paternity test. they would not have announced the pregnancy at nine weeks. most people don't even tell close family and friends they're expecting until around thirteen weeks. you think they would have announced the pregnancy of the one night stand of louis tomlinson, a.k.a the member of the band who up until close to that point had been known for being the one in a wholesome, long-term relationship, that early before they even know for sure the kid is his? i don't think so. not to mention that if you're someone in his position, and some random, unknown girl you barely know starts claiming you're the father of her child and asking for huge amounts of money, you'd probably start asking questions before anything went too far. there's also the fact that louis is notoriously private about his life yet that kid's face is plastered everywhere they can get away with putting to this day. let's be honest. if the kid really was louis', we probably wouldn't have any clue he even exists and wouldn't for a very long time.

if you guys actually think about it, this song is more sarcastic than anything. as i do believe in louis and harry's relationship, i don't exactly think that's what the song is about. i'll elaborate past this if anyone is curious as to what it is that i think lol... so, basically, we all know that every single one of the guys had narratives pushed to them. louis was always seen as this kind of a rough, sarcastic guy and just reckless and a bit rude. toward the end of the band, they pushed the same thing onto him as they did harry for the previous five years, basically a womaniser and just a dude constantly looking to hook up with women (ie the hotel room rumour, you know the one...) so it starts off with "i might never be your knight in shining armour/i might never be the one you take home to mother/i might never be the one who brings you flowers/but i can be the one tonight" -- while a lot of people interpret this as a longing lyric, as in "i wish i could be yours", i believe it's just louis "owning" the player narrative handed to him. sort of like: well, apparently im not relationship material. i can be yours for the night, though, if youd like. then it goes on to set this scene about how the speaker (louis and harry) saw this person, one who is not real or all the girls they were rumoured to be with, and was like "okay, im interested in you" but knew that they were no good, and are like "okay, im not good at this type of thing, but i know to have fun, so if youre interested, here i am" and that idea with the chorus just suggests that they ARE their rumours. harry IS the "bad boy" who can break your heart and leave you stranded, louis IS bad at promising things. then: "baby, im perfect for you, you're perfect, we're perfect" *but* they mean "well, if you want to sell a story, im perfect for that" (i hope that makes sense, i know what i wanna say but its hard to word) but also talking to each other-- like we've gone through this together, we're perfect for it, we know how to handle it, we're handling it together. (plus the "if you like causing trouble up in hotel rooms" line is definitely a nod to the rumour about louis.) and finally, the bridge: "if you like cameras flashing every time we go out/if you're looking for someone to write your breakup songs about/baby, im perfect" anything these guys do is publicised. thats not a secret. but, i believe this bridge does have to do with taylor, but not in a "romantic" way, as i obviously believe this song is sarcastic lol. this is harry speaking. he's basically saying that whatever he and taylor do, everyones going to know. all eyes are on them, meaning that cameras will be flashing every time they go out, more than normal. so hes literally just making this seem romantic but if you dig deeper you realise hes just being snarky lol. and then the breakup songs reference is really just making fun of the fact that they have to do PR stunts in the first place, and is not exactly a taylor diss, but the most obvious-not-obvious reference he could make in order for someone to catch on to what he and louis are trying to say. however, if you look at the chorus as just louis and harry speaking to each other, you could look at it like this: the verses are what are on the outsides of the song -- owning their narratives, this is what the public sees. the same goes for the bridge. the chorus is somewhat hidden inside, ie what they really mean is what they cant properly say. if that makes sense. basically just the outside (verses, bridge) is what the public sees and the inside (chorus) is louis and harry talking to each other and saying that they'll always have fun idk i know nobody asked but thats how ive always seen it LOL

Louis wrote "Home", in April 2015, begging someone to let him make them a new home, after Harry wrote "If I could fly". of course, "Perfect", would be next song for Louis.
