So depressing really every dark wet day is a day in summer robbed!!! Rain n cool followed by rain and mild no wonder these islands are so many ppl with mental depressive orders 🤦♂️🤦♂️
So far this summer has been absolute garbage. I am hoping for warmer weather to arrive and also some more sunshine. Absolutely fed up of all this cloudy cool and depressing weather. I do wish that pesky jet stream would bugger off back to Greenland and leave us alone for a few weeks.
wait till rishi sunak see the results of tomorrow the heat coming out of GCHQ will definitely create some very hot weather as it artificially creates a high pressure bubble XD
Mark have you noticed that when the weather is very bad in the UK, during the summertime, Moscow and other parts of western Russia are very hot, sunny and stable. Does this affect the weather in Western Europe.
2024/2025 will be a winter to remember a stalled transition of the el-nino / la-nina is not a good sign i have a bad feeling we are heading for the winter we should have got last year, this year! lets not forget the first hurricane of the year was a cat 5 and that has to have an effect for sure!
We’re only 2 weeks into summer according to my Geog uni professor… this met office invention of : meteorological summer. Doesn’t tie up with official definition…it’s in the text books

yeah, if you look the equatorial sea temperature profile also at depth the cold pool is fading. Maybe Laniña will fail but its still early to say

Conversely when April/May was freezing cold in Moscow, western Europe was reasonably warm at that time

The Met office only use blocks of 3 months for data reasons. No other reason..
