- After finding a level 9 car drop to begin the game, I knew I had to go all out in an attempt to beat my Eliminator record of 10 eliminations. The only question is: can I do it before the time runs out?

I play the game on PC using a controller.

What an awesome round! If one or two drivers had given up at the beginning, you could have had 11 or 12 eliminations! Still, you eliminated 10 out of 44 opponents! Not bad!
Yah I agree; still hard to believe that not one of my 10 opponents quit.. but yah still an awesome round! 😀
@@StriderZYT IMO that makes it more impressive as in my only 10 elim round 2/3 players quit.
Very strong round - excellent block on the Funco but they drove very well to get so close at the end!! 10 elims is awesome

Nice vid as usual 👏👏👏 From my personal experience, if you have a drop 6 or higher in the first minutes it seems perfect to finish in level 10 car. Level 5 or below, you have to fight a lot more, make a nice snipe or get lucky . The pivotal level at the beginning for me is level 6. For a ten eliminations (or more) I believe LVL9 or 10 is required 😎 and also you need a decent last circle (I mean circle with a flat open field or the volcano one with newbies that do not know the IWTZ)

@@jordyjoelledjoy8854 IWTZ stands for Instant Win Trap Zone. When the last arena circle is on the top of the volcano, you have a specific point on the East of the volcano where all the H2H finish. Whatever the H2H starts at 1 kilometer or 100 meters the finish line is always at the same place. You can trap people here as the H2H can last 3 seconds.

Totally agree Bob, whenever I get a level 6 car at the beginning, I know I only need 4 eliminations for a level 10, which even in a slow round is very achievable
@crazycjk agreed! 7 is more or less my target, so even if I start in a level 3 and just upgraded 1 level each time I would still get a level 10 in the end. But, usually I manage to find a faster car or race a higher level car which gets me to a level 10 quicker

@@StriderZYT I saw others comment how it was necessary. If I'm in a lane and someone pulls up where they might PIT MANOUVER me... they just shouldn't have. 😆

I hate these games where all you see are white triangles or nothing... at least in this one you already had a level 9 car. :)
I clenched by butt cheeks a couple of times... that Subaru challenge is the reason why the big car should always follow the little one. 😨And that Funco challenge from a dead stop... I put my money on the Funco... fortunately you pushed aside your "nice canuck" reflexes and pushed the Funco down the bridge. 🤣
To go beyond 10 eliminations you need some luck... little to no dead time between opponents... a couple of QQ.
Yah even with the level 9 start I still lost some time trying to find that first opponent. Towards the end I also lost time when I played it safe and allowed those 2 cars to challenge each other instead of me challenging one of them. Things like that, plus the fact that there were no quitters, really add up in the end.
As for the Funco, the plan from the start was to use the bridge to my advantage. I knew it would be a short race, plus his acceleration would blow right pass me, so that's why I defended my position the way I did

Oof - so, so close! If only there was the function to 'buy' some extra time - 10m credits (or something high enough to dissuade spamming it) to pause the countdown for 30 seconds and can be used once by only one player per game, something like that... seems technically viable, I think, but as Eliminator hasn't really changed since it was first introduced in FH4, well, I'm not holding my breath... I'm still awaiting the long-rumoured Eliminator 'teams' update from a year ago. **sigh**

Instead of looking for one I just grab the highest level one, but only if there are level 5 and up…
I should look a little but still take the level 7-10 car drop if I find one.
Yah level 5 or higher is kinda what I'm looking for as well; anything higher than that I'll definitely grab 😃

I don't know my MAX Elims. My claim as a Certified ELIMINATI is based on getting the "HEADS UP" Achievement and other stuff.
I found an amg one at that exact spot but someone challenged me before I could claim it

Definitely fortunate to have gotten that car 😁
There are ways to increase chances of a HIGH 1st Drop, but there is often the TRADE OFF of not many other drivers around early.

Congrats on that record! Yah I just needed a few more seconds, but that just goes go to show how valuable every second is when you're chasing maximum eliminations. If just one of my opponents had quit it would have been a big help, but yah you can't control that aspect 😄
