KLM A330-200 arrival, taxi, push-back, departure @ Princess Juliana Int'l Airport, St Maarten

- The last time i was in St. Maarten was 2015. Last year Hurricane Irma which was the most powerful hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic struck this island head on, while St Kitts got some level of damage the level of destruction seen on St. Maarten was on a whole other level. Currently the Terminal @ Juliana Airport is still close to the public and am not sure when it will be open as it seems they are still doing repairs, they have two tent like set up for arrival and departures currently in use. The island is bouncing back and i have seen a big increase in regional prop service since my last visit. This time around my visit was very short just 3 days, Hurricane Irma destroyed my spotting location which i had in 2015 with a perfect view, on this trip my view on both ends of the runway got limited by some Trees but i tried my best to make it work....sit back and enjoy my Juliana series :) !!!!

today an american airlines flight had to do a full power takeoff today but i dont know why but i guess it was full but the roar of those engines were amazing you should have been there to get that catch

this was not the same spot i had last on my 2015 trip...sadly hurricane Irma destroyed my sweet spot lol...this is at a hotel call beach side villas, they have an observation deck.

@@3atmey Basically every aircraft have center wing tanks because if they didn't the Range of the aircraft would've been drastically reduced. Appart from the A330-300 which doesnt have a center fuel tank! The A330-200 Has a total fuel capacity of 139160 Liters. The both wings can hold a total of 91300 Liters, The centerfuel tank can hold a total of 41650 liters and the Trim tank (Which is a fuel tank in the horizontal stabilizer (The 2 small wings on the tail of the aircraft hehe)) can hold a total of 6230 Liters!. The A330-300 in the other hand can hold a total of 97286 Liters. Which is a total of 91056 in both wings and 6230 liters in the trim tank! What airlines/companies do is that they install/modify a center fuel tank into the A330-300. Its called Bladder tanks, Big rubber seal bags that just fill the Center cargo compartment and hold Fuel for a longer flight :)!
