    This is the Altima S, not the L model. The L comes with leather, Nav, heated and cooled seats, Bose sound system, etc.

    5th generation looks leaps and bounds better than 4th. I was offered 4th generation on trade for my car and I was like WTF that car looks weird. I'm probably going to end up with a 5th generation.

    Cameron, the Altima has the biggest back seat leg room I believe.

      Dustin Hart the Volkswagen Passat has the most back seat leg room in the midsize sedan class.

    The interior is much different than the ones I've seen, this must be the basic model you can buy because all the other cars look the same

    hey Cameron can you do a 2017 chevy suburban

  • @coureurdebois
    @coureurdebois Před 7 lety +19

    that interior is getting dated and cheap. well it always was cheap. but when its competitors (the Mazda 6 and Malibu) have far better interiors with more features, more interior space, and higher quality materials this is a disappointing choice.

    • @coureurdebois
      @coureurdebois Před 7 lety +5

      17 malibu, not the 15's try driving a new one or a mazda 6. far more soft touch points, more connectivity, more interior space, and superior material quality.

    • @coureurdebois
      @coureurdebois Před 7 lety +4

      i mean it was my job for over 3 years bud. as a driver for dream cars (and hertz / alamo) we got in (obviously) lots of nissan and chevy products. of which the 16 Malibu's and altima were the most common. either way the interior materials and soft touch points are far superior in the Malibu.

    • @coureurdebois
      @coureurdebois Před 7 lety +4

      keep in mind i was talking about the premier trim. but even the lower level trims offer cloth on the dash while the altima forgoes all soft touch means (such as injection mold, cloth, or pleather) for plastics.

    • @coureurdebois
      @coureurdebois Před 7 lety +4

      mid dash on the malibu offers pleather / cloth while in a comparable altima you get plastic, upper doors you get pleather / injection mold on the malibu (depending on trim) while in the altima you get plastic on the upper doors. as for trans tunnel in the malibu you get knee pads which you do not get in the altima (its plastic) the seats are real leather unlike the altimas pleather seats. mid doors of the malibu offer real leather while the altima's only offer is cloth or pleather. either way, superior material's, far more interior space (2 inches more head room, 2 inches more hip / shoulder room, 2 inches more rear leg room), and you receive far more connectivity features. *now that i have walked you through why the Malibu offers more materials, space, and connectivity i will say this*
      build quality is subjective so i wont bother mentioning build quality. but objectively the malibu offers higher end material palate and more soft touch points versus the Altima which is one of the weakest in terms of interiors for the mid sized class. though the Altima does get class leading MPG.
      also just a FYI the 16 malibu is the same as the 17... you seem to think they are different models. YW.

    Just rented this car. 😕 they should have never given me a huyndai sonata before this because dam.. This Nissan is lifeless and drives like a prius. The steering is way to soft. No pick up kinda cramped. But good review tho

      1aquariustechguy Thanks, I personally wouldn’t drive an Altima/Sonata/Optima they remind me of Uber/Broke people cars.

      Interesting because a Prius and Altima are both faster and have better handling than a sonata. They also have real engines in them
