Hey Max, I was wondering if you could make a review on an Agile guitar in the same price range. I've been trying to decide which one to buy between a Wolf WPRS or an Agile 3100 LP series. Both brands seem pretty solid (and both are from South Korea), so I think it would be a great video if possible. Cheers, man!

I've been playing PRS since 1991 and I can honestly tell the difference between PRS and Gibson scale lengths. It's subtle but you can definitely feel it if you know it well enough. That said, I actually love the shorter scale so I'm very tempted to pick one of these up. Thanks for yet another great review!

Most of the brand name guitars these days, gibson, fender, ibanez, esp, prs etc you're spending half of the cost on the name. I mean lets be real wood is wood and the only real difference is quality and hardware/electronics. Its good to see there are more options for people getting into guitar than when i started. Back in the day it was either the mall guitar shop or the pawn shop in my town.

I got one in the "Brown Burst" (Like a Gibson Ice Tea Burst). And while I thought it was a great guitar, the bright teal-greenish color of the Abalone just did not look right with the Sunburst and I resold it on Ebay. I wish they offered it with white inlays, like they do on some of their semi-hollow bodies. I actually liked the scale length and the chunkier Gibson-like neck. But, aesthetically, I just could not make peace with the bright green inlays. Also, I thought the pickups were ok, but kind of lower output than I expected. I will say that the folks at Allinoneguitars, who I bought it from are class acts.

I have this exact same guitar, it was setup by allinoneguitars perfectly. Mine had the wrong tail piece though but my local guy made it work for the action so that's fine. Allineone is great, they said next time you order from us, let us know and we will make it up to you. That was my 3rd guitar from them so I already got a great deal on it, so no biggy. As you can probably hear, this guitar sounds just a little thin so I actually got a different one that had 59 pickups put in them so I could keep my first one stock. They pickups were night and day for warmth, so in case anyone buys one of these and it's too bright for them, consider changing out the pickups. If you like a brighter guitar, this one would be great for you stock. These Destiny Wound pickups can also be found in a brand of guitars named IYV but for some reason it's IVY everywhere. The IVY guitars are very good for the price but they are not made as well and the frets are not as nice as the Wolf guitars. Don't get me wrong, just this year instead of buy 1 very expensive guitar I purchased about 8 IVY guitars so don't overlook them, they are great sounding guitars and well made... just not as good as the Wolf guitars but they also are maybe a half or even a third of the Wolf price.

I feel like your reviews are so untrustworthy... your playing could make anything sound good! Thanks Max! Your reviews are appreciated by people that are on a tight budget. Keep it up!

Nice axe! I’ve found that guitars made both in Indonesia and South Korea to be of very high quality for any guitar, let alone a “budget” guitar. Cool review.

Someone posted this review on Facebook yesterday. I ordered it today. I liked the other Wolf guitars...but love the natural quilt finish. I had no idea of who Wolf or Guitar MAX were before the video. Thanks for the great review MAX!

One of your better reviews - more time spent on the clean settings! Thank you. With the ebony fretboard and the Grover tuners, this turns out to be a very nice guitar for the money. Also I thought these pickups sounded better on this Wolf guitar than the other one that you reviewed recently (interesting). Good catch on the shorter scale length that matches Gibson's - I think most guys would be fine with that as that will make for easier bends and a slightly more Gibsony kind of a sound.

@@shawnwright5332 I picked up a w400 w/ a natural finish. Took off all the hardware, sanded off the finish. Shooting a second coat of nitro today. Going with a sunburst. The maple top is a thin veneer unlike the harley bentons that have a 3/8" maple cap. That is what I was hoping for really was a decent maple cap. The abalone inlays get allot of notice though. Will be putting on different hardware.Faber, seymour duncan, tonelock, and gotoh delta. The feel and sound(unplugged) are a couple steps up over epiphone pro LPs. For wiring adding a series/parallel switch to the neck p/u. I don't have enough space for too many guitars and knew one would have to go when the w400 arrived. Already have an ad on CL for the epi pro and holding onto the wolf w400, its a keeper.

I found this video after I ordered the SC77. It's now $479 with a case. I like the idea of it being somewhat lighter, but it doesn't have the bling that the SC77 does. I hate that I have to wait until July to get my SC77.

I was curious if you had any plans of getting the 2020 model of this guitar and review it as a comparison to your current mode just like you did with the wolf wlp (les Paul copy). I am looking to get the newer model of the w400 but cannot find any reviews on CZcams so far.

Really wanted a WLP750 Les Paul copy but they sold out =( So instead i chance it on one of their WPRS models. Got a Brown Sunburst (WPRS200C) and got it recently last week and got the say I was not disappointed on this one. The guitar came set up, though I had to do some minor adjusting since I live in the tropics, but overall its one of the best valued guitar I ever bought. (Paid $280 plus shipping). Definitely going to order their WLP models.

Excellent video all the way around, Max. I'm thinking about and vacillating between buying one of these Wolf PRS knock offs or a PRS SE. It's always boils down to decisions, decisions. What a happy decision to have to make. Thanks!

My guess about the scale length is that its to avoid a lawsuit from PRS.

    Hello everyone,
I felt I have to share experiance my with my “Wolf wprs”.
First off I read alot of forums and did as much research as possible before buying a Wolf PRS.
I purchased my Wolf guitar from the Ebay Seller “Allinoneguitar” ,who I figured was an affliate with the online store. He had positive reviews so I finally pulled the trigger. $339
Thought I should mention before getting into the meat of this that I do not like posting bad reviews or taking trash. This was my experiance.
Upon arrival I was under the impression it came with a case, it did not. Upon first inspection the frets look like a machine did a rough cut and then that was it. Frets had deep scraches and some were uneven and flat. Not to mention the 4th fret was loose. After doing some fret work. I thought I could get over it, but there was alot glue splatter allover the fretboard.
After further evaluation the Plastic nut piece looks like it doesnt belong on the guitar. It seems to small for the width of the neck and the high E barly sits in the grove. The High E tends to pop out while playing. This is very annoying. Im using Erinie Ball 10s.
Bridge pickup cover is bent and not lined up with the screws. After opening up the the electronics i found a bunch of saw dust and electronic paint chips.
Tried contacting the Ebay seller no respons yet after a week. Also emailed Allinone guitars online store to ask if the Ebay seller was even affliated.
Wondering if i got a facory 2nd. No response from them after a week.
There is no possible way any guitar tech worth his salt set up this guitar or even looked at it.
So at this point wish I would have bought a use PRS SE.
I will be bringing it to the local guitar tech to see what he can do with it, at this point its barley playable.

It’s easy to tell scale length by feel if you use the same gage strings and do bends in your playing... but it’s really easy to compensate for, personally I love using 10s with heavy bottoms on 25.5 inch scales and 11s with heavy bottoms on 25” and under, just kinda helps for bend predictability in a multi-guitar set 👌🏼 keep up the awesome 🤘🏼

You should review Iyv guitars! Just bought their green les paul for an affordable price and noticed that it comes with the same pickups in this Wolf guitar. I think it's an amazing guitar and certainly more so because of the price. I would be interested to see what you think and hear your input dude! 🤘
