  • I recorded all the footage except for the clapping animations of Dr. Mario, Mewtwo, and Roy from Smash 4. The clapping footage for these characters was sourced from the video "Evolution Of All Character's Clapping Animation in Super Smash Bros Series" by Master0fHyrule. For recording Melee and Brawl footage, I used Dolphin, and for Ultimate footage, I utilized Elgato Game Capture HD. The video's background music was set in A minor, featuring the song "Gadget Room" from Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force, styled after "Music 1 (Korobeiniki)" from the Game Boy version of Tetris.
    Notes:
Pokemon do not show up on the No Contest screen in Ultimate.
Pokemon Trainer owns Charizard, so I saved it for this video.

Charizard was omitted from the Labor Day Special Skipped Veterans Victory Screen comparisons because it was a standalone character in Smash 4. This was the only instance where Charizard was independent of the Pokemon Trainer. Charizard was included in this video since it is part of the Pokemon Trainer's roster, and the Pokemon Trainer did not appear in Smash 4 due to the 3DS's limitations in handling multiple characters simultaneously.

I believe several veteran characters were absent from some Smash Bros. games for various reasons: Pichu and Young Link were considered weak in Melee, with Pichu lacking significant fighting merits. Young Link's popularity was confined to the Nintendo 64 era, and Toon Link overshadowed him due to Young Link's diminished reputation in Melee. Dr. Mario, Mewtwo, and Roy missed the inclusion in Brawl due to timing and character roster limitations. The 3DS faced challenges with multi-character fighters, leading to the absence of the Ice Climbers and Pokemon Trainer in Smash 4. However, Charizard was featured in Smash 4, retaining his Brawl moveset. Wolf did not return in Smash 4 due to a lack of popularity, and Snake was absent because Konami held the rights.
