I am on awe how the other kids are so happy for eachother when the birthday child is opening their gifts. Even the twins seem respectful and patient! Great job parenting!😊

I love the simplicity of his birthday. Here in Germany its a crazy pressure to do something extraordinary for birthdays. Kids go to school (homeschooling is not allowed) and its common to invite as many friends as your age and go to an indoor playground, pool, cinema, trampoline hall...and eat there which costs a fortune. Of course many people only have two kids. We have 6.
Birthdays stress me out.
If you still do a party at home you kind of need to make up for not going anywhere.
Birthday kids use to have a gift box at a toy store where kids who are invited can choose from the gifts in that box. Just had to get a gift and they ranged from 20 to 30€. 😮 But then the guests get a thank you bag full of sweets and little toys. Its all so over the top but hard to do it differently if you're the only one.
You don't want your kid's guests to be disappointed and let your child feel it...
Why do you feel the need to do it like everyone else does? In Australia, it is not so different but it's about what families can afford and making the day as enjoyable as possible for the birthday child. Why put so much pressure on yourself as a parent.
@@juliewilson6017Sadly the kids will get the consequences in school, when you do it differently in Germany. And since every child is forced to go to school, there’s not really a way out of it. Even I remember it from my time in school and that’s 15+ years ago. My mum tried to make it different and I wasn’t a big fan of those parties too, but then I was always the weird one and the one with not enjoyable birthday parties (although we did cool stuff, but old school and not over the top expensive). One reason I moved countries 7 years ago to a country, where homeschooling is allowed. I want it different for my kids ❤

Awww Happy Birthday Felix! Felix will always have a soft spot in my heart, I’ve followed since the triplets were tiny and Felix has always been the sweetest soul! And such a deep thinker! My son is 16 and Felix has always reminded me of my son! Little Cosmo reminds me a lot of Felix! And little Zelda looks so like Cosmo! Every one of your children is beautiful and sweet natured- you guys are wonderful parents!
I also think that Zelda favors Cosmo! She is so precious, just like all her brothers and sisters!❤️
