Traverse has a great third row. It doesn't get much love from reviewers who tend to like to caress soft dashboards and fawn over shiny screens, but it's a really solid family hauler. Best riding out of any of them too.
Also this is a mid size SUV but i will say the new Jeep has plenty room in the third row. Also i don't know if heated seats would help because the air circulation is different back there. Maybe it's own buttons for the sun roof
These are nice but just too cramped for a family SUV. More like a grandparent SUV, when you might use that 3rd row once or twice a year to take the grandkids to the local Dairy Queen.
Other reviewers have noted a wonky transmission and hard ride. Your thoughts? The I6 and RWD based platform should make it a decent handler, but does make it long for the amount of interior space.
Third row really sucks. Plus they need to improve their service centers. Everytime they have some major repairs which shoots to 500-900$. Don’t know if these services are even required or are they just stealing money.
@@Bonezz024 take your own advice. From Car and Driver: 2020-2022 Hyundai Palisade, Kia Telluride Recalled Over Fire Risk The recall involves a tow-hitch harness that can catch fire and covers 245,030 Palisades and 36,417 Tellurides.
For me they are excellent but they leave something to be desired in the third row so both need to be longer, wider and higher so that they have more comfort in both the second and third rows.

Mazda CX-9 is what I wish I had as a '21 Telluride owner. I rented a fully loaded CX-9 in fall '21 and it was far superior. Not sure how the lower trims compare, but the vehicle is awesome.
joe i’ve heard repairs on this specific model can be quite costly because of the way the engine and parts are oriented. What are your thoughts about that?
Dont believe to much with that toyota guy! He thinks he knows more than those engineers.. he hates this car because it would be hard for him to fix it😂😂.
Keep in mind Highlander and Grand Highlander only come with turbo 4 cylinder and not improving fuel efficiency or power. Most still like the natural aspirated V6 in a 3 row SUV.
The bad part is any work you do to that car you have to drop the engine instead of hundreds of dollars to fix is going to cost you thousands once the warranty is over get rid of it but still have no resale value
Repair costs out of warranty will be a fortune to fix. This engine design requires most of the engine to be taken out just to access common parts. Other than that concern, it looks amazing.
Small window in the third seat. The back end from the side looks like a pregnant whale. Inside tech is years behind the Telluride. The inside of the Telluride looks more upscale than the Mazda. I keep my cars for 15 plus years. I don’t want to be fixing the Mazda’s engine out of warranty. I’ll take the Telluride.
Mazda did great with this, I really wish manufacturers would start caring more about third row passengers though. Great vid as always Raiti 👍
3rd row gets totally neglected by most manufacturers unfortunately. Why not add ventilated and heated seats to the 3rd row?

That is one sexy SUV. I just wish they weren’t so exorbitantly expensive
They are cheaper than the Lexus, Acura, Infinity, BMW, Audi, and MB that they outperform…
looks cool except for the back, has a bit of a weird shape lol
I’m not gonna lie, this is the one ☝🏾
I like the way that you think.
Mazda really nailed this one. I usually am not a fan of their design, but that front end seems to give me some classic vibes
Looked at one today and man that cabin is nice.
That rear seat lacking feet room is such a huge let down, if you're traveling with adults.

Kia telluride is not in competition with this car literally at all. Mazda is above that class
