    This looks like a great solution for me. I just picked up my first Chris Reeve knife, a large Sebenza 31 plain jane sandblasted and I love everything about it except for the abrasive texture with the sandblasting. I was thinking about returning it. But with a smoother texture I think I would really love carrying this knife and feel better about carrying the knife in slacks or putting it in my backpack pockets.

    Sandblasted is dead. Long live the glass blast era 😀
    I predict that in 3 years, all your knives will be glass blasted and sandblasted will be the selectable option
    Its so much better, well done Tim and CRK

      @@sham86ful yes, the glass bead blasted is way more preferable than the sand blasted for my needs. I can seen the benefit of sand blasted for some, but the glass bead blasted was a much needed option for many.

    Would love to know where I could order a Sebenza 31? Every website like blade HQ, knifes ship for free, knife joy ect are sold out. (Have been for months).

      Hello! You can order directly from our website (current lead times are on the order page). We don't take any money upfront and you can cancel if you find a knife in the meantime. We also recommend getting signed up for back-in-stock notifications from multiple dealers so that you broaden your chances of snagging a knife. Our dealers are re-stocked monthly - you just have to be quick on the draw!

      @@chrisreeveknives7828 yup, I highly recommend ordering directly from CRK. I've ordered at least 5 of my 21s directly from them. I was even able to get one with my daughter's actual birthday. I either called or emailed them the day my daughter was born and asked what 21s you got right now. Awesome peeps!

    These people have chosen not to honor existing orders and the price agreed to in those orders by upping their prices AFTER a lower price had already been accepted. They are hiding behind inflation as an excuse, but if the previous prices were unsustainable then they shouldn't have been offered and agreed upon during order placement. There are countless knife makers that don't participate in this type of disgusting behavior. Don't reward this behavior by giving them your business.

    • @nycmaverick
      @nycmaverick Před rokem +1

      I use a lot of titanium wire in my business and prices are so unstable that the suppliers will not hold prices for more than 7 days. You need to realize that your cost is contingent on their cost and understand that the business of knife making is so competitive and knife makers survive and keep their businesses alive on razor thin profit margins. Those that will not cut build quality and material quality and manufacture in the USA have no other choice but to raise prices.
