Mad Max is an action-adventure video game based on the Mad Max film franchise. The game was inspired by its universe, and franchise creator George Miller was consulted during the game's pre-production. In this action-packed, open world, third person action game, you must fight to stay alive in The Wasteland, using brutal on-ground and vehicular combat. A reluctant hero with an instinct for survival, Max wants nothing more than to leave the madness behind and find solace in the storied “Plains of Silence.” Players are challenged with treacherous missions as they scavenge the landscapes for supplies to build the ultimate combat vehicle.

It's like a death stranding but with a vehicle that has actual proper physics and moves faster. I feel like bethesda's Rage 2 has more Mad Max gameplay mechanics and chaos than this one.

Are you guys joking or have you just never played video games before? AC, the Arkham series and the LotR Shadow series aren't exactly low-profile. The game was just them plonking the Formula down with a Mad Max coat of paint. Scrotus insignias? Do we remember Max going around collecting little Riddler trophies? It was a good game but let's not cope by acting like it was revolutionary.
There is nothing revolutionary about this game, its just a formulaic open world game in a mad max setting with hand to hand combat ripped-off of batman. Its a nice game but cmon, its not the second coming of christ

A bit of a heads up if you're wanting this game for the achievements - due to WB turning off the servers for online play there is one achievement that no longer can be earned so %100 is no longer possible through normal means but there is some online help via save game trickery that can get you that achievement if you're up to the task.
i actually didnt know this until i got back into the game. the scrap crew feature, what a waste of it being coded into the game now it would seem. all the more reason it would be great to have titles that were not online dependant like this and are fully completed to play offline.
Im going for the plat on my ps4, is there a way to get that trophie/achiviement?

@16:30 First time i notice that on the wall , the sunlight casts the shape of Australia.
1:29:15 a phenomenal game with one major flaw for me. the way the brightness changes when your character steps into an illuminate area and darken area is incredible annoying. the last time i played, years ago, i didnt find a way to turn that adaptive brightness off. seems like there still isnt a fix since this play through is most recent in 2024.
I'm gonna go ahead and say this is one of my all-time favorite games.
too bad there's so much wasted potential in this game or with the franchise for that matter.

As far as the scuffed continuity goes in all the movies, yes, it takes place before Fury Road, but considering the movie was egregiously late and still came out 3 months before the game, no.

screen shake during combat and the very sluggish feel of the running animation ruined this game. shitty batman combat because WB and 90% of the environment is just shades of grey.
tried this on a RTX 4090 at 4k maxed and still get 300 fps . lol

I congratulate you on this "100%" performance. But there is a LOT of the boring content you cut out from this video. All of the minefileds, for example. As well as going straight to Gastown, then the Underdunes, and wouldn't you know it, there's Zero threat in the Dump area. Nice vid though
