Toyota Celica GTS Caliper Re-Build

Today I tackle the beginning of my adventure of swapping my drum brakes to disks on my Celica. The first thing we gotta do is restore/re-build my crusty as calipers I got from the junkyard. I knew they were bad but not this bad. This is my first time restoring a pair of calipers so lets see how this went!

props for doing this. one of my rear pistons seized and i just said fuck it and got new calipers. what you started with looked way worse than mine and your end result came out good.
how are you going to mount these in a GT? I have a GTS but was just curious of your plans.

Thanks Dude!! Yea mine were trashed trashed almost didn’t do it cuz of the amount of work I saw forward. I found a couple write ups and from what I read all I need are the rear hub assembly , gts ebrake cable and a hand full of different bolts. I plan on making a proper video on it cuz there dsnt seem to be one out.
