The stories Sebastian was telling about how they gel there hair up at the gym, and basically put a whole bottle of cologne is so bad. They totally do that her in NJ/NY After a while that smell makes you stick, couple 1,2 sprays is fine and good enough lol. Sebastian I'm so glad my Italian parents are not strict they all were back in the day. All they want is the best for there kids. I love this podcast but I also feel sad being educated on the realities of professional MMA and the struggle most fighters go through. Every time I watch TFATK I become more disillusioned with the UFC.
you shouldn't, most of what you hear is from a disillusioned Brenden that found out the hard way that he'll never really amount to much in MMA and should just retire on air by his friend Joe Rogan. He talks as if the fight game has ever been anything different, in boxing the majority actually make even less. Kovalev the light heavyweight champion fought for free for two years. He says this is the highest MMA will ever be in the states, get the fuck outta here. If you listen to him talking you would think there's any other combat sport being followed more than MMA in the states and worldwide. The truth is that MMA will most likely be the leading combat sport worldwide, it's pretty much there now. In combat sports it's always been like that where the top guys are the ones making money. GSP was making $5+ million per fight for years, Anderson Silva was making $6+ million, look up his last fight with Diaz when they were supposedly going to withhold his fight purse, it was all over the media ESPN, FOX, etc it was $6 million for a non championship fight, McGregor is making $3-4 million per fight, Ronda $6+ million per fight, Jon Jones $4+ million per fight, a lot of the other top guys are making $1+ million per fight. Don't believe what the UFC reports because they're a private company and don't have to disclose what they really pay the fighters, according to them Anderson Silva only made $800,000 versus Nick Diaz when it was actually $6 million. Brenden needs to stop being butthurt about what happened to him and stop shitting on MMA. Boxing is doing horribly and is pretty much irrelevant and barely anyone follows it, the only thing it had left was Mayweather vs Pacquiao and that's gone. PBC started off strong with good promoting, now you never know when it's on and the ratings are horrible, nobodies watching it, not enough talent and the talent in general in boxing has diminished greatly. Blown up hype trains like GGG with padded records fighting tomato cans and still no one gives a fuck but the die hard boxing fans. MMA will continue to grow, sorry Brenden that you could never be an elite MMA fighter but stop the hate already. Plus the UFC has had the best start to the year and year in the companies history in regards to ppv numbers, 2 very cost to 1 million ppvs, 2-3 ppvs doing 800,000+ and then some other ones doing 500,000+. So let's just stop it Brenden, last year was bad because everyone was getting hurt, known fact.
